According to MSNBC reporter Ryan Reilly, Head will get credit for the 18 months he has already spent behind bars.

That time should be added onto his sentence, not taken off it.

It still bugs me that all this was allowed to happen. If all the threads on Fark knew these jokers were going to go nuts (and all the threads on Fark did know that), the authorities should have know too and they shouldn't have allowed it. People very high up had to have decided to let it happen. If these rioters deserve 7.5-year sentences (and I think they do), the people who let this happen (and I think we all know who those people are) deserve life without parole.

Yeah. Anyone who followed anti-fascist Twitter accounts at the time, or anti-fascists or leftists anywhere, knew it as well. It's why there were no counter-protesters in DC that day. For a whole month, the message was "Don't go. They'll only use our presence as a pretext for something bad."

Don't be sorry, that rant was completely accurate.  The people who are going to jail for this were the stooges, the people who made it happen should be paying a MUCH harsher price.
