I voted against him in the primary in 2018. The fact that he won the Democratic primary then, even after all of the corruption, was one of the things that left me with very little faith in our electoral process.

Menendez is a crook but this leak is 100% from MAGAts in the SDNY trying to smear Democrats in campaign season. They pulled the same shiat in 2016 with Weiner's laptop and got Clinton's scalp out of it

He's a piece of sh*t almost as bad as Manchin. That's on Jersey for not primarying him.

We're stuck with that asshole until they replace him. But he should absolutely be ostracized from the party just enough so we don't lose his vote, because, unfortunately, his vote matter more than that asshole does.

And he knows it, and that's the leverage he has.

He should have been convicted in his last trial, but the SC ruled in the Governor Bob McDonnell case that a bribe isn't a bribe unless it is accompanied by a confession that you are knowingly taking a bribe and doing an official act in exchang for that bribe.

Worst part is that Cory Booker may also be corrupt. Being mayor of Newark he invited in Facebook founder Zuckerberg to bring in a bunch of money to help Newark Public Schools. Yet the real intent was to create charter schools to replace Newark Public Schools more so than helping the existing schools, and a lot of the money that was donated went missing and most likely went into Booker's Senate campaign. Anyone who looks into it would probably find corruption there too. My state needs better Democratic Party politicians for its Senators that it sends to DC.
