As Subby points out there's quite almost nothing that can be done once a voyage has begun, and that'll continue to be the case for a loooong time. These people train their asses off and know each other very well so these issues will be caught here on Earth years before launch.

Lisa Nowak is the most notable, but several other NASA-qualified and vetted astronauts have snapped under the stress (or the decompression, post-career) to one degree or another.  A point-in-time assessment only goes so far.

Put potential crews into a year-long prep mission in sealed facilities with limited outside contact and limited private space.

Watch them over CCTV.

Whichever crew handles it best, you launch with.  Next best becomes the backup crew.

I used to live near Quantico back when the local rags actually reported on the wrongdoings of law enforcement.  Those FBI agents would get into all sorts of jealousy/relationship conflicts far in excess of standard issue domestic violence.

Half of all marriages fail, many of them fail very very dramatically. And that's without forcing the couple to live in a very confined space for several years.

And, married people cheat all the time, unfortunately.

Or, imagine one person in a copule being brutally dumped partway on a 5-year mission, and having to watch their ex-partner get it on with another crew member three feet away for the remaining several years. This would be a nightmare scenario for many, which no amount of psychological screening can prepare for.

No matter how hard NASA or etc would try to pick good candidates, there are many human-social unknowns that could turn a mission into a multi-billion dollar catastrophe.

If it is a voyage to Mars then this issue comes up for pretty much any crime. There will be no prison. Basically it is live with them or toss them out the airlock. Indeed if it is murder, it will have to be the airlock.  We lock people up on Earth because it is a practical option.
What is worse is the crew won't have access to a judge and jury or even proper legal representation. For light infractions, they will need some creative punishments.

That applies to broken marriages too. You can't 100% filter out all bad relationships, but codependency and compensatory dependencies are pretty easy to spot, even if a huge number of people fail to recognize it when it happens to them.

Besides, the relationship really only needs to last long enough for them to get their feet on solid ground where they can more easily get the hell away from each other. They may have a falling out ten years from now, but you can at least certify that one of the couples doesn't consist of a naive Christwaif and a manipulating psychopath with mommy issues or something.

Even if they aren't, sometimes abusive men/women are very good at hiding, there isn't much that can be done. You're stuck on a ship for months without any kind of respite. Maybe you'll make sure that person who causes the problem is never alone with anyone, but you can't do much else in space. All the jokes about airlocks aside, that's also a good way to end up like Stranger in a Strange Land with crews killing each other off.

You think Musker is going to go to Mars? LOL. That would mean he would have to sacrifice comfort and bust his arse to live. Once he left the safety of Earth, things get dicey for him. On Mars he becomes a rich guy where wealth doesn't mean shiat, and not doing your job could kill someone.
