I'm not surprised they went ahead with the game.  In 1991, there was a shooting incident on the University of Iowa campus.  Unhappy former grad student killed five people, left another one paralyzed, and finally killed himself.  You betcha the Hawkeyes went right ahead and played their football game at The Ohio State University the very next farking day.

What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger, until you get old enough that it just kills you.

It's always the last ski run sky dive of the day where you get hurt killed.

Attention whore dies doing what he loved.

Who even decides that a kids' football game needs some adults clowning around beforehand to make it better?  Does some school committee beg around at sky diving clubs for some free pageantry, or do the sky diving people beg around at various events until they find someplace that will let them perform?

They couldn't get the Air Force to do a fly over, so sky divers were the next best thing.  Having some death and destruction at the start of the game makes the whole enterprise seem a tad more sane.
