There's literally thousands of species of ant, as far as I know. So one ant's face is not another ant's face.

Also, as a Xennial, come on we've all seen Honey I Shrunk The Kids.

This was just as traumatic as Artax dying. Fight me.

The ridge of hairs underneath aren't it's "orc-like jaw", either.  The rest of the article proceeded to mislabel and grossly under represent most of what else was happening with the photo.  Pretty sure they gave an intern a photo and said "make up a story that sounds like you had something to do with this".

This article has some better pics of the ant's whole face, including the eyes. They got some great shots.

This could be the cassette cover to either a speed metal or goth-industrial album from the late 1980s.

The original "The Fly" movie. The one with Vincent Price.

Shirtless Jeff Goldblum? Personally I don't see the appeal.

I was a prisoner of the ant people. 20 bug bombs is too good for 'em!

Beyond the Ick factor, these pics show how incredibly complex small (to us) organisms are. Even more freaky is how colonies of ants, bees, and other social insects act as unified whole, that is as one organism..

Consider that you are also a sentient collection of various colonies of organisms, acting as a unified whole.
