I really like the Sharks, Panthers, Kraken, Kings, and Jets sweaters. The Canadiens and Blues are pretty nice as well. The Rags sweater isn't working for me in the photo here, but let me see it in motion.

The Flames one is especially confusing for me.

Yes, I realize these are the reverse retro jerseys, so it's mixing up a lot of elements, but in the case of the Flames:

- they used the Blasty colour scheme
- they used the Blasty stripes
- but they used the regular flames logo
- and they used home white on a black jersey

So they literally took the worst jersey in Flames history and used only the worst parts of it.

The Capitals one is almost indistinguishable from a jersey they actually released.  It's the screaming eagle from the teal jersey placed on that era's black third jersey.   Not nearly as awesome as the one they did last year, which in the views of many is the best jersey the Caps have ever had because it pulls together so many parts of other good jerseys.

Yet since my son plays for a local team called the kings, with a crown logo,  the LA reverse might be a cool gift for him

That being said, there's been a desire among some fans to drop the one Jets tradition we still have used (albeit not since 2012) and that is the Whiteout. Some want to replace it with something more desert-like such as a dust (or sand) storm. I can see this new one uniform being popular with those who want that.

You know what color is overused in hockey aside from black after the LA Kings made it popular to have a black jersey in the late 1980s/'90s?

ORANGE.

Ducks would be so much nicer in the old colors switched, a jade jersey with purple, black and silver.

NY Islanders -- Fisherman don't work without the teal. In orange, he looks like a Vegas neon sign. (BTW Vegas, word jersey sucks).

Coyotes are the only orange one I'll give a pass to, as it's desert look.

The Devils failed for not living up to the KC Scouts rumors.

Sharks should have gone with color instead of white. Just looks as awkward as the Seals' animal logo. Teal and gold works. I put it in the bottom tiers, but it's not THE WORST. In fact, it's the best of the words jerseys, give it that. But if it was color jersey instead of white, definitely in the top consideration.

Buffalo should've used the gold and blue for ram head.

Predators should have gone blue for Meth Panther. Then we'd be talking it up as one of the best.

Habs baby blue is pretty good, but should've stolen the Nordiques' fleur-de-lis at the jersey's bottom while they were at it for that all-in French Canadian stealing swagger.

Wild and Blues tried. Meh.

Maple Leafs just went through the closet and pulled an old one out. Ditto Dallas (c'mon, Mooterus!). At least the Rangers looks slightly different.

Seattle, fark the black. GIVE US THE ARCTIC BLUE FULL VERSION. But I would consider buying it on clearance prices.

Columbus is underrated.

I own a '70s LA Kings crown jersey. I've wanted a mid '80s one (Robitaille rookie year) in gold. But I just can't accept the white jersey, it's like I already own a version of it. LA's previous reverse retro was the best of the last bunch. This one is the runner-up with Columbus and HMs to Washington, Montreal and Arizona (fourth place I'd say for AZ).

Florida it is. Best in this bunch.

I wonder if the Devils still own the old Rockies and Scouts branding.  The Avs sweater looks kinda like the old Rockies design so I wonder if they tweaked the colors just enough to keep legal happy.

Jersey using Colorado state flag colors?  OK.  Then again, same colors were used when they were the Scouts in KC so it works on two levels.  And the less said about the old logo for the scouts in 2022, the better.

I'm not sure how I feel about Colorado's.  It seems the blue is too dark and possibly the red on the C, but it may be horrid lighting.  Some folks thought in the reveal video it looked green, not blue.

I'm not 100 percent on its legitimacy, but this morning on Twitter I finally got a view of its back side. If true -- DEAR GOD. It's like the first time you get to see the dark side of the moon -- we've been seeing the prettier side all these years.

Had Gretzky worn it, nobody would give a fark about the Great One wearing the Burger King.

Yeah, I never was able to get my hands on a Coyotes one (I also had money troubles at that time which didn't help). I'm seeing one on eBay because I started on a search again this morning after the announcement of the new ones and I'm figuring out if the cost is worth it (they want $350 for it)

Point being that the Canadiens and Nordiques absolutely HATED each other, on and off the ice.  Habs fans would rather be forced to speak English than have something to do with anything Nords-related.

Like 5 different stores here were always sold out of Coyotes reverse retro.  It seemed to be really popular up here.

Well, after two years the 'rona finally caught me.  I've tested negative but I've got the cough, leg cramping and chills.  Mrs Flappy had it last week and my efforts to contain it were a failure.

Hubby and I are physically distancing because of another close contact. Third for either of us since beginning of the month. This would be the worst possible timing for one or both of us to go down since we move in less than 2 weeks.
