Well then, let's think about this. Perhaps some of those 501(c) slush funds that helped transport rioters to DC and to organize the insurrection should be looked at. Maybe a few hundred millions could be seized.

"There are lots of requests," House Appropriations Chair Rosa DeLauro, D-Conn., said when asked about the Department of Justice's request for the extra Jan. 6 funding in the year-end bill. "We're taking a look at all of them and seeing what makes it and seeing what doesn't make it."

Well that gives me the warm and fuzzies.

Time to start the asset forfeitures.  Stone, Banon, Trump, etc... let's get some assets seized.  Mueller showed us the way!

They could fund a thousand investigations if they actually enforce and collect on some of the white collar crime that has run rampant...

The really frustrating thing is there's about a 70% chance DOJ's budget gets zeroed out around mid January.

If it meant those traitorous sons of biatches actually having some consequences I say we start a gofundme. I'd pay good ass money to see MTG hanging from the end of a rope.

Great...the govt will find a way to fail us all and let corruption and sedition run rampant...which a large portion want.

Totes fine to throw any and all money at the military and police without question, but investigating sedition is a bridge too far, apparently.

As if anyone would actually apologize. They would just say that "Biden is still President, that's what really matters. If you want something to happen to the Jan. 6 insurrectionists, you have to vote for Biden in 2024 even harder than you did in 2020."

Why the Fark did the DOJ takes its time moving on all this crap? We, those of us that are still sane and not in the Cult, have known Trumps is guilty as sin for the Jan 6 attempted  Special Needs Coup. We know he's guilty as sin for Sooo many things he did before that, like the multiple sexual Assaults, the rank Fraud, the rank Tax Evasion, the rank colluding with gangsters and despots worldwide, his back room deals with shady businessmen like Tom Barrack, or his bathroom deals with pornstars, his hiring undocumented workers from places like Poland or Central America and then stiffing them their hard earned wages because he knew they couldn't formally complain....
We've known all this for years and yet it took the DOJ until two weeks before the midterms to make these requests

WTF?

Those often include arresting the criminal(s) based on probable cause, then spending more time strengthening the legal case.

How many months did it take after the Oklahoma City bombing before there was enough evidence to lock up McVeigh (the example often cited as proof of Garland's competence)?

It has become increasingly more clear that sources that used to be pretty well center, or even a little left, have now gone over to the right.

I don't know if they are doing this because they want Republicans to win, or because they want to give the appearance that the races are closer than they really are.

There is an argument to be made that if they keep pushing, or tacitly endorsing right wing candidates, or keep making it look like they are doing well in a tough race, it will prompt more Democrats to come out and vote.

But really...  Who can tell anymore?

There are 19 days, 5 hours, 2 minutes, and 28 seconds left until polls close on #Election2022
