Should we be surprised Jerry would say something like that?

Jerry, you got lucky in life. Your success is not because you are smart or tough.

Shut the f*ck up.

They do not like him paying him that $50 million a year or whatever insane number he's getting.

Kraft then yelled, "Stick it up my ass! I mean, your ass."

Per the ESPN article, Jerry has turned on Snyder. I assume it's because he's hurting the NFL's cash flow. Also because if Snyder's dossiers are legit, then he is the head of the table and not Jerry. Jerry won't handle not being the kingmaker in the NFL.

"He believes in corporate good governance and wants accountability on the financial goals tied to Roger's bonus," said a league source familiar with Jones' thinking. "He is sensitive to awarding a big bonus to Roger before he performs and earns it."

Cowboys approximate value in 2006 when Goodell assumed office: $1.2 billion
Cowboys approximate value today: $8 billion

He's performed. He's earned it. $50 million per year, divided by 32 teams, each doing nothing but to increase exponentially in value? Easy call, unless you're Jerry Jones.

When it's two of the leading voices in the business wing of the owner's group it makes it interesting. These were the two leading guys who convinced Spanos he needed to go to LA.

Jerry turning into late stage Al Davis is going to be fantastic.

if remunerations are based on playoff performance then no one in the cowboys organization gets paid much

Jerry figured out how to keep the Cowboys relevant enough to keep selling tickets and merch. He knows he's not winning a SB with him and his idiot kids running the team.

Did he say it while putting out his cigar on the tongue of his personal bodyslave, while resting his gouty leg on the hunched over body of another servant he uses as furniture?

Agreed. I hope the owners give each other ulcers.

I would say the leading voices in that group are Jones, Kraft and Kroenke.

And since they've all just had to pay out for Koenke's settlement to St Louis I can't imagine he is in anyones good books right now.

Man, if those are the leading voices, it's no surprise the NFL is so terrible and can't stop stepping on its own dick.

I mean, isn't that one big boy's club? They're a bunch of rich people with tons of money that essentially run the biggest sport in the US. Don't they, like, get invited onto each other's yacht to smoke 100 dollar bills and do blow off of imported Vietnamese hookers?

Outperforming Jerry Jones is both easy and warrants a firing.

How i imagine this exchange went:

JJ - As the owner of the most valuable franchise, I move that we . . .

RK - Oh shut up, why don't you go have another kid, oh you probably have several you just don't know about.

JJ - Why don't you go get another handy, three more and you could be QB for Cleveland.

RK - At least we've won a superb owl in the past 25 year.

JJ - Hey f you!

Kroenke is in that group too but closing that LA deal was way bigger than any pocket change he and the other owners had to throw at St. Louis.
If it was more sensible people running that deal the Chargers would be in Vegas and the Raiders would be in LA. But Kroenke doesn't want to run the risk be the less popular team in his own building so that was that.

He is making them truckloads do money. I don't think they mind his pay all that much. Also, FTA: "The 31-1 vote signals that most owners want Goodell, who has been in the job since 2006, to continue as commissioner for the foreseeable future -- and that he wants to continue in that role"

You can say the same about Kraft.  Whe was a millionaire who married the daughter of a multimillionaire and then bought a sh*tty NFL team and somehow scored Bill Parcells & Bledsoe and Bill Belichick & Brady. Now he's somehow a multibillionaire who can have Elton John sing at his second wedding.

So far the only owner to publicly support ousting Snyder has been Irsay, but it's possible Jerry wants him gone too, if anything for fudging his financials.

/ if anything does Snyder in it will be the misrepresented income

To be fair it is probably pretty easy for  a Los Angeles born and Arkansas raised con man who is sporting a good ole boys accent and Texas-made boots to swindle Cowboys fans out of a LOT of money.

Then get them to defend him because he is so rich and successful

This is why Jerry can afford to piss off Roger Goodell as much as he wants too, His money does not depend upon whether or not his team wins.

It's TV contracts, dude. Ticket sales and Cowboys merchandise are a blip on the radar.
