Well, Covid plus the Russian invasion of Ukraine mean that it's hard to get to a "normal" footing. Since everyone put off moving away from fossil fuels basically continuously since the 1970s, when there is a crunch it's gonna hurt.

Europe is in for a ride this winter no matter what and in a global economy, that means trouble.
