It doesn't matter.  Everyone knows he's dumber than a box of rocks but the R's are going to vote for him anyways. He'll spend his time in Congress doing exactly what the leadership tells him to do.

The same campaign director who managed Perdue's miserable campaign then gets fired from Walker's campaign, is probably not the negative you hoped for.

What type of desperate, masochistic gimp do you have to be, to not quit before getting fired as his campaign director?

I say Warnock wins?  He takes a hit because of the mid-terms with Democratic POTUS but the overturning of Roe v. Wade will bring out the angry women.  It will be close though.

This is why he was chosen. You don't want someone who has ever had an independent thought to be gop senator.

They just need to know to vote how they're told.

No kidding.
I think a lot of conservatives have underestimated just how many people are pissed off about SCOTUS overturning Roe v Wade.
The Dems have seen a LOT of new voter registrations in the past few months.

Perhaps. But firing a high ranking campaign advisor less than a month before the election probably means internal polling after this issue broke is a dumpster fire.

The departure of Taylor Crowe, who previously held the same role on ex-GOP Sen. David Perdue's failed bid for Georgia governor this year, comes just weeks before Election Day in the crucial Senate contest against Democratic incumbent Raphael Warnock.  With an evenly split Senate, Republicans are hoping to flip the Georgia seat as they look to take control of the chamber.

Two people familiar with the matter said Crowe was fired after suspected leaking to members of the media. It is unclear if there were any other factors at play.  One staffer simply said, "No, it's Becky."

We have a whole month left for new revelations and for Walker to say appallingly stupid things that continue to alienate voters.

And his son is now a wildcard in all this.

I think we're going to witness one hell of an implosion.

Walker: You need to get my pole up.

Campaign Manager: Ummm...  Do you mean poll?

W: Both or you're fired.

CM:  I can't do either.

W: You're fired!

2022-10-07 2:56:06 PM
I have a dollar that they fired him before he could quit because that would look worse to be ditched.

Not saying the campaign manager has any ethics, but that Walker is probably a worse client than Trump for a manager.

Fire everyone else and run the campaign yourself. I mean, clearly you are the most qualified.

Not to mention that right now is REALLY not the time to get caught being hypocritical about abortion.

2022-10-07 3:00:03 PM
When news of a former girlfriend who had an abortion broke, the campaign apparently was already aware of that particular skeleton in his closet, however yesterday when it was revealed that the lady was also the mother of one of Hershel's kids the campaign pulled back a bit because they realized that the abortion they were aware of wasn't from the mother of one of his kids, meaning they were talking about a different woman than the one who had come forward. So there's another woman out there Hershel encouraged to have an abortion that we haven't heard of yet, but his campaign has.

You're probably right.  Trump knows how to sell himself which covers up a lot of his flaws to his cult.  Walker doesn't have that skill.

Also, it's not the campaign manager, it's the "political director."

FTA:
Herschel Walker's Senate campaign cut ties with its political director on Wednesday, ... Walker campaign manager Scott Paradise declined to comment

A brief Google came up with this: According to Wellstone Action, a progressive political training group, a political director's role is to organize with specific voting groups: "The political director works with specific constituency groups to organize their involvement with the campaign, for example - labor, seniors, educators, veterans, communities of color, new Americans, environmentalists, and college students, etc. They help develop a voter contact plan in coordination with the field director for particular communities by building relationships with the existing organizations that represent these communities.

What constituency groups was Walker's campaign working with, other than Trumpers?

That's what makes his blanket denial so awkward.  It wasn't really a secret--people who supported other GOP candidates in the primary warned the Walker campaign that his part relationships were potentially campaign-killers.  Too many people already knew about his baggage before he'd even won the GOP primary.  It was stupid and arrogant to believe that this wouldn't come out--and thus par for the course. :-)

Wow.. that might be the fastest I've ever seen anyone go full Godwin on me. Nice!

Which group is more likely to say this:
"We must all vote as a group and have no dissenters or else surely the country will go to waste and there will be total collapse of the country as we know it!"

Which group has used gerrymandering, voter suppression, and is now threatening voter intimidation?

Which group is threatening to take away civil rights?  Which group staged an coup attempt?

I'll give you a hint, it's not the democrats.
