As a 1970's DC native it's sickening to me what this asshole snyder has done to a once-proud franchise. First he craps all over the entire football world in DC with his jerk-store management of mediocrity, and turns what used to be a happy, goofy fan-inclusive sports world into a for-profit sh*t machine, then acts like a total dick about the Redskins name and ends up with a dumbass name like "Commanders". I hope they tear his f*cking skin off.

Not defending the WFT or its management, but why should Congress be investigating them?  Aren't there a million better things for them to be spending their time and our money on?

He should have the team taken away from him for the milquetoast name that has nothing to do with anything.

Because major sports leagues' anti-trust exemptions exist only because Congress lets them?

This isn't about the sports league.  This is about an individual team.

And when the league refuses to do anything about an individual team doing things like abusing employees and human trafficking, it's suddenly a league and a Congressional problem.

The Commies would do well to remember how the Nassar "investigation" went - if they just keep their heads down and say nothing, it would all just blow over because the government isn't going to do shiat against them if they don't have to.

They can do more than one thing

Can they?

But why? There are state/muni/fed laws that cover all manner of sexual harassment. Congress has no reason to be involved in this. It's grandstanding, period. Let the court system handle it.
