This guy needs to be in a home. Yeah he's a baddie. Maybe blame it on football. I don't care. The farking batshiat insane Red Caps propping him up are the problem here. This isn't even a train wreck I'm interested in watching. All I can hope for is that the GA voters don't fall for this.

And almost every GQPer in the state will still vote for him because they do not care about anything but seizing power. And they have no intention of ever letting go if they manage to.

Remember: Reich wingers in AL voted for a pedophile - over a prosecutor - because the pedophile is a GQPer.

I think it was an Onion thing about George W. Bush being such a success as a useless veneer of a person that the GOP would just run a puppy dog next time.

We're getting there. Tom Tuberville and Hershel Walker have no business doing anything but licking windows and pigskin. Yet the South will vote them in no matter what they do.

The October surprises keep on coming so I expect at some point a woman who Herschel was in a relationship with is going to come forward with photos of bruises and the story, possibly even audio recordings, of how those injuries were inflicted. Why wait until now for that? After what Justice Kegstand's accuser went through I don't expect anyone to be willing to come forward with such serious allegations unless absolutely necessary.

Who among us hasn't at some point found themselves holding a knife to someone's throat or a gun to someone's head? These things happen in the heat of the moment before you even realize what you're doing. You libs are making such a fuss over nothing.

Always super chill when someone with a history of domestic violence allegations promises to teach their kid a lesson.

(The latest twist in the current drama is that he has denied knowing the woman who accused him of paying her to get an abortion, the Daily Beast revealed that he later had a kid with the same woman.)

But demonstrating that they can get garbage elected is the f*cking point.

Evangelicals eat that shiat up.  They love a tearful, "I have sinned and Jesus has healed me," story.  See Jimmy Swaggart.

Apparently, Republicans think that 'spreading their seed' is just something football players do.  And there's nothing wrong with that.

Blame it on his diagnosed and actual DID - AKA multiple farking personalities with at least one of them being a homicidal lunatic.  And yet he's allowed to run for office.  I'm using this word on purpose, anyone that votes for someone suffering from psych problems that severe is farking insane - the end

More civilized countries didn't have Trump, who openly made fun of a reporter with disabilities, threatened reporters at his rallies with bodily harm, slept with porn stars outside his marriage, grifted from ... well, pretty much everybody, and promised he could shoot someone on 5th avenue and not lose supporters.  AND WAS STILL ELECTED PRESIDENT!

I find it interesting that the GOP can't even hide their racism with their non-white guy nominees.

Like, you're going up against an intelligent, well-articulated pastor of a major local church, you would think you'd send an equally qualified person to take him on, but instead you toss in a brain-dead moron who's only claim to fame was being a good athlete and you can only see him as the athlete you used to score boatloads of money in an oppressive white-owned, black-worked institution.

But Walker plays into the stereotype that the GOP has always had for African Americans, the dumb jock who sleeps around and scores with their wives.

In many ways, Walker is just a manifestation of the GOP's inner racism

I used to think that if even if if Hitler ran for office in America, he'd get 3% of the vote. Now it's clear that if the GOP backed Hitler, he'd get at least 20% of the vote.

Football. Model of a sexist, and violent society.
Held aloft as more important than tackling such generational issues as poverty, lack of clean water, and secure and safe employment.
And there is even a football metaphor in that second sentence to dumb it down for the sportsball fans to understand.

Stop acting as if grunting and falling down is a qualifier for leadership.

The humans that evolved out of cave dwellings figured that one out.

We now return you to a mid term election process filled with grunting and falling down.

Gordon Bennett: I appreciate his campaign spending money to remind voters that he threatened to kill his wife.

How the fuck is this actually happening? I feel like we're all stuck in a collective fever dream.

A retired athlete with CTE, whose sole job was to make rich people richer by sacrificing his body and brain to move a ball across a field, admits to threatening (and possibly alluding to actual abuse of) his family in a fucking campaign ad. And there's still an outsized possibility that this asshole wins.

What is this guy going to do if he actually wins? I know his voting bloc doesn't give a shit, but it wasn't that long ago that politicians (and candidates) were expected to have some understanding of how government works. This taint stain can't seem to reliably remember how many kids he has.

What are the odds that if Walker wins, he has at least one harassment complaint filed against him within a year?

/Sorry for the rant, this Walker bullshit has completely broken me.

Yeah, typically when you repent and claim to have made positive changes, you stop doing the things that led you to repent in the first place.

Well, the national GQP commentators are trying to give GA voters cover by saying that Walker's abortion(s?) don't matter -- because Democratic legislators like Warnock will support broad pro-choice policies.

Because after 40 years of talking all that "personal responsibility", "small government", "family values", "character counts", we come to find out that doesn't actually matter.

Power is the only consideration.

Because it's a test run for a wider roll out. Also, with such a fervent push, one of these states will get in front of SCOTUS, and barring any massive changes, they will legitimize the GOP's shenanigans.

The traumatic brain injuries caused by football lead to elevated levels of violence and a decreased level of rational font due to the damage to the forward cortex. Hyper-masculinization could be symptomatic of actual brain damage. Violent stupid Apes

Because most of 'em are, at best 55:45 in their political split -- and thats after the gerrymanders.

Red states are not nearly as "red" as they make themselves out to be -- they all have large population centers that often skew blue, despite rural areas skewing predominately red.
