earlier i saw marine one fly over my apartment, i live between the airport and the beach.......

anyway, shiat is so borked down here that live transmission of biden's address was lost!

i hope nobody liked having tomatoes at the store in the winter. IF you did now canada is your only hope, for greenhouse grown limited pickings......

pretty sure Food Tab only "loves" those when drunk and stoned out to the edge of oblivion.

perhaps we'll be FORCED to start eating local, season foodstuffs more often......

Jelly beans are great. I haven't seen any, in any of the 4 local grocery stores, for at least 6 months. I have had to resort to other bribes for my granddaughter. And yes, we have an electric toothbrush for her here, and she has to use it when she is done.

Whatever drought we had here in the mid-Atlantic is over thanks to Ian.

That storm has been dumping rain on us for the past five days and finally let up earlier today. (although it's still drizzly)  .  It's like it took the fast track into the Carolinas and decided to just stay over this part of the country.

Should the Thwaites Glacier break free as soon as scientists predict, we may be on our way to extinction by 2040.  Not necessarily as a species (we're probably too clever for that -- probably), but the way of life we take for granted?  Quite possibly.
