Eh, he's going to play for one of the best offensive minds in the game and a guy with a proven track record of developing NFL ready quarterbacks. A guy his uncles both respect as well. It makes a lot more sense in that regard. I doubt he turns Texas into a powerhouse, but he's only gonna be there three years anyway.

I'm not too impressed with their O-line. If they beef that up, he'll be fine.

Who's a great offensive mind? Cutty Sark is a bottom shelf coach who has flamed out everywhere he's been as a HC.

He's the epitome of falling up.

Can't wait to see this kid in action as a backup QB in the CFL in six years.

Penguin Engine: Can't wait to see this kid in action as a backup QB in the CFL in six years.

The hype train is getting a little ridiculous, but your prediction seems overly pessimistic. From age 10 or whatever, tossing a ball with his uncles at the summer home meant getting pointers on his spiral. If he wants to know how to read a defense or manage checkdowns, it's a quick text or call to grandad or his uncles.

There's a reason there are so many current stars who are the sons or nephews of pro athletes in the same sport.

Legacy, meaning 'pass him in every class, he's a great QB'.

There's a whole lot of great coaches who flame out at head coaches. Look at his track record as an offensive coordinator and QB coach, it's undeniable. The Mannings are using him to fine-tune Arch into a pro QB, nothing more.

As long as Sark lays off the sauce.

True. I'm sure he'll reach the heights of greats like Jack Elway, Nate Montana, Chad Kelly, and Chris Simms.

Look at his track record as a head coach.

It's undeniable. And he's not the OC in this instance.

Lol, those did happen. Or he could turn out like Christian McCaffrey, Howie Long, Clay Matthews III, Nick and Joey Bosa, Andrew Luck, Mark Ingram II, Brian Griese, Cam Jordan, DK Metcalf...

Nobody said he was a good head coach...why is that the argument? Oh yeah, it's not.

The point remains that Sark, like him or not, is a phenomenal offensive mind with a proven track record for developing NFL ready quarterbacks. That's why Manning chose to go there. David Cutcliffe was a terrible head coach, but the Mannings worked with him every offseason because he's a QB guru, same as Sark.

A lot of people farking sucka s head coaches but are great coordinators or great position coaches.
