Will the world be better for this?
That one man, strong and covered w/ scars,
Still strove w/ his last ounce of courage?

untoldforce: Nicholas D. Wolfwood: I was worried that it might have been one of the wind turbines they set up on our old family farm, but it was the next township over.

Your family owned all of that land next to the Turnpike? I must have passed by it dozens of times. It's a pretty area.

We had a farm in Somerset County (Shade Township), about a mile or two west of Rte. 160, not far from where 30 drops down towards Bedford.  My brother still owns it, but is no longer farming it.  Rte. 30 goes through it (we have land on both sides of the road, that is).

The place is about 760 acres, or roughly 1.2 square miles.  We farmed about 100 - 150 acres, the rest was woods or pasture.  You can see the wind turbines from Rte. 30 on the north side.

Here's a picture looking north from 30, from before the turbines went up.

We have the original land patent for the place, from a few hundred years ago.
