No.  No hew doesn't.  I live here.  People saying that they want Oz is because they are tired of the crime issue we're seeing.  When it comes down to it, the last few weeks will beat into everyone the Abortion issue, plus with the increasing Trump BS piling up, these "Oz supporters" aren't and won't, but are biatchy, whiny Philadelphians, and will actually either not vote, or will vote Fetterman, not because they love Feterman, but because of the puppies.

People saying that they want Oz is because they are tired of the crime issue we're seeing.

Why would those people think that a republican grifter senator would do anything about crime?

The summary extra judicial execution of people of color by ACABs is always an implied Repuglican campaign promise.

When they say "crime" what they mean is "people being black in public."

For all it's worth, I see far more OZ than Fetterman signs in and around my Philly burb. I have to wonder if the BS ads saying Fetterman wants to empty the prisons and make PA a drug dealer's paradise are causing a lot of scared old white people to embrace Dr. Snake Oil. Since this is the state that twice voted for Rick Farking Santorum, I'm not terribly optimistic about this election.

I'm actually pretty worried about this seat. Fetterman's campaign has consisted entirely of "but that guy's not even FROM here" and shiatposting. The only actual issue that I have seen this guy raise is that he wants to legalize weed.

Meanwhile, the GOP has been going all out tying this guy to progressives who are currently stepping on their dicks with the Philly DA who refuses to prosecute crime and is extremely unpopular with all other voters.

Fetterman is not running a great campaign and I am supremely worried that Oz is going to pull it off

2022-10-05 11:51:35 AM
Oz is going to win.  Just like Vance.  Just like Masters.  Why?  Because people get to make a choice when they think no one is watching, and their true nature just spills out.  They don't want to make things better for everyone.  They want to make things better for themselves, to the detriment of other people.  They want to take a little bit of pain to make certain other people hurt more.  Cruelty and selfishness is fundamental to American character, and it reveals itself constantly.

It makes sense when you consider they live in imaginary world, fostered by countless articles of right-wing, race-baiting, copaganda media, where black on white crime is open season and crime across the board is worse than ever.t

I know these things often tighten up toward the end but yeah it doesn't seem inconceivable that Oz could win.  I wonder how much will be decided by the one debate they're going to have.  It's about three weeks away.  If Fetterman looks and sounds like a healthy person maybe that's enough to get him across the finish line.  I hope so anyway.

I had a nail gun set up where I could pull the trigger with my teeth on the last one.  It didn't hurt as much as driving them by hand but I did have to pre-drill the feet.

The Philly DA is prosecuting a LOT of crime. The Philly DA's office is getting convictions in about 90% of the murder cases it tries. The problem is that the police only solve 28% of the homicide cases and 17% of the shooting cases. And you also have a state government that won't put in place stronger gun laws, red flag laws, and background checks.

There will always be a sizable portion of GOP voters who will excuse any sort of subhuman behavior because leftism will ALWAYS be the greater evil. And you know why this works so well? Because the right wing of the Democratic Party HELP THEM.

That's so odd because I'm in Butler County (suburban Pittsburgh) and I've seen more signs for Mastriano than I have for Oz. Same when I traveled north to Erie this past weekend.

Except that the entire game board changed when SCOTUS overturned Roe v Wade. Anyone - ANYONE - who isn't 1000% behind restoring abortion rights to women is gonna get their asses kicked in the next several election cycles.
Something the conservative leaning Democrats should keep in mind.
We can primary out a democrat who isn't on board. It's not even all that difficult.

Fetterman is doing surprisingly well in central Pennsylvania.
