Don't think so. We already had a candidate in the House with significant brain trauma, right Newt?

2022-10-05 11:39:49 AM
So you admit his concussions cause his deep commitment to Christ, interesting.

2022-10-05 12:01:32 PM
If Christ were a real, Newt would be roasting in hell by now.

Another candidate with significant brain damage, you mean.

Well, it's not like Newt can come right out and argue that due to those those concussions making him simpleminded enough to control, now can he?

great headline, but it omitted the word "another" before the word "candidate"

I like Jimmy Carter, I do not like Christians. Christians are so unlike Jimmy Carter.

From the fall of Nixon onward republicans have been about power over country, ethics, or honestly.

I can't believe he has significant brain damage.

That would require a significant brain.

Authoritarians love to fill the halls of power with idiots and incompetents.  A principled, intelligent conservative could disagree with the party when it conflicts with their principles.  But someone like Hershel Walker is always going to push the button he's told to push.

Power, by any means necessary

Apparently Christ is fond of adultery and abortion.
So that's nice.
🙄

I think Walker is the most important Senate candidate in the country because he'll do more to change the Senate... by his deep commitment to Christ. He had a lot of concussions..

Well, brain damage from a lot of concussions certainly explains why Walker has gone full fundamentalist.

2022-10-05 1:41:52 PM
They want someone who can't think so that they will simply tow the party line without question.

For counter examples, see any Republican who spoke out against Jan 6.

2022-10-05 1:42:27 PM
To be fair, I don't think anyone would notice this one particular Senator with brain trauma from the rest of the GOP Senators so...

2022-10-05 1:43:15 PM
Just curious, Newt - how many divorces of sick spouses will it take to prove Walker's devotion to America?

// or is it measured in "abortions paid for" these days?
// certainly isn't "out-of-wedlock kids" like it used to be...

Suffers from brain damage.
Still smarter than Lauren Boebert.

Trading in your cancer-stricken wife on her death bed for a newer model is something Jesus would do.

Jeezus.  Newt is like, 160 years old or something and he just refuses to go the f**k away!

I don't think that's the shining endorsement you think it is, Newter...

"...he'll do more to change the Senate... by his deep commitment to Christ."

Are you sure you aren't describing Walker's opponent? You know, the guy who also happens to be the Senior Pastor of Atlanta's Ebenezer Baptist Church?

We should destroy his horcrux.

They really think they can sell any loser if they wrap him up in Christianity, don't they.

he's ;being paid to bilk Lifelurk security reasons

/because he was indicted as SOTH (!) for 104 ethics charges

/then he threw his wife under the bus and 'ran'

2022-10-05 1:50:58 PM
He respects him. Hershel probably didn't ever go as far as dumping one of his girlfriends while she was in the hospital with cancer, but still, game recognizes game.

2022-10-05 1:51:04 PM
There's already 50 with deep brain damage, the Republican caucus.

Great_Milenko: They really think they can sell any loser if they wrap him up in Christianity, don't they.

It's generally been a successful tactic for a good long while.
But the winds have shifted, and being blessed by christianity isn't the "I win" button it used to be back in the day.

People of Georgia: This is what they think of you. They think so little of you that they believe throwing out the football guy is enough to get you to ignore how ridiculously incipient the football guy is and that he'll be a puppet for them. He, and they, don't give a half a crap about you - they just want power.

You would think that one or two committed actual Christians would raise the flipping roof on their soul very vaulted religion being raped by assholes like Newt Gingrich

If it wasn't for those Satanist liberals....

Then why do "Nationalist Christians" (Nat-Cs) force their anti-choice, on Americans that never made them have an abortion.

Because christianity isn't about morals or ethics. It's a religion of control.

Why are we still asking Newton Leroy Gingrich his thoughts on anything other than divorce laws as they pertain to cancer patients?

"Welcome to hell.  What did you accomplish while you were up there?"

"Under the guise of voting for platforms and principles, I voted for the candidate that my lib friends and neighbors didn't like."

"Well, at least you know why you are here."

as far as I can tell the only thing walker does is say he is committed to christ. actually living the way that would require is not something he is willing to do

the number of children and marriages and restraining orders suggests he has a lot of trouble with the 7 deadly sins

I can't even for the life of me understand how they are running "commitment to Christ" against a pastor.  A Pastor!

I could understand if they stressed fiscal responsibility or defense spending or whatever other conservative wet dream they like.  But Christian values while running against a pastor is just weird.

BWAHAHAHA!!!1!!

Fark Newt. Apparently he has never seen Squidbillies. And, with Walker "running" after Margarine Traitor GangGreene's stupendous idiocies, Squidbillies winds up being truer of Northwest Georgia.

/The other part is for the GOP and Northwest GA, Herschel Walker is considered "One of the good ones". Yes, I have heard this by several of the local asshole racists here in Rome, GA.
//I know many that went to UGA, as graduates and post graduates, and they are hanging their heads low because Walker also represents UGA as a "graduate", (but of Foosball). Walker is now proof of college that has special graduate program for some "students".

The libs want equality for disabled people but don't want a guy with brain damage to be Senator. Sad.
