Biden has been a walking gaffe machine since he entered politics. Age has nothing to do with hit. The GOP would be wise to let this angle of attack die the horrible death it deserves instead of continuing on when they support the badonkadonk bonnet who penned this:

The right wingnuts who go out of their way to apologize for everything conservatives do that is stupid and yet somehow think that this is an actual issue against the Democrats have a depth of idiocy and a shallowness of intellect that's truly astounding.

In March, he said about Russian President Vladimir Putin: "For God's sake, this man cannot remain in power," a statement the White House had to walk back a short time later.

That's not a gaffe.  It's the absolute truth.

republicans commenting on morals, competence and patriotism is like john wayne gacy commenting on parenting; although, ol' john gacy probably knew more than them on that subject.

Not seeing a lot of defence of Biden here. Just a lot of "b-b-but whatabout XXXXXX."

Tells you all you need to know.

That inability to read the room is really kicking Republicans in the balls lately.

2022-10-05 11:17:03 AM
Look, the one where he called out the dead Senator? That was a pretty serious farkup, and worth the news bite it got.

But 95% of the rest of the shiat is ridiculous nitpicking.

Gee, it's really a toss up.

Donald Trump drew a line in sharpie on a federal hurricane impact forecast. Doing so is probably a federal crime

Defend him from what? He sometimes says a word wrong. Don't really need to defend someone when there's not actually anything to defend against.

That's because the Republican Party is an explicitly anti-intellectual institution.

The latest bit I've heard from the closet republican I know is that Biden is not only decrepit and a figurehead but also incredibly racist and solely responsible for inflation.  Biden should, he goes on to say, stop giving money to the Ukrainians because that whole thing is none of our business and do something about all those welfare leaching illegal immigrants.

Why yes, he does read the Daily Mail.  And he's not political just so you know.

2022-10-05 11:22:41 AM
Good thing there were no gaffes from Trump, like saying John McCain isn't a war hero, talking about blood coming out of her "wherever," saying Carly Fiorina's face disqualifies her from being president, how Monsanto in the corn creates issues in the brain, mocking Serge Kovelski's arthrogryposis, Two Corinthians, celebrating Cinco de Mayo with a Trump Tower taco bowl, saying Putin isn't going to Ukraine.

And that's all before the end of 2016.

2022-10-05 11:22:50 AM
Biden mispronounced a word, omg it's the end of America.

Republicans openly say "I don't want to help bla- people" and "The overturning of Roe is a historic victory for white life", and the right suddenly goes silent.

No no
The Republican response to Covid was to do nothing. They absolutely accomplished what they tried to do, making it far worse than it has to be. Competent and evil looks incompetent only if you are expecting good things. Shame on you for expecting TFG to do good.

Biden may not be a master orator but TFG is no cunning linguist either. Those who live in glass houses, etc.

There really is no defense for the truth, he's not a good public speaker.  But he's doing good things for our country and fighting against rampant racism & bigotry that the prior administration openly welcomed and encouraged that caused massive division between people. We are far too divided as a human race right now, it's sad. The bad turds floated to the top, we need a solid flush.

the problem is that it works, at least in terms of keeping their followers engaged.  Just pick any random MAGA chud's twitter account (or probably facebook or telegram or whatever).  It'll be chock full of Biden "lost grandpa" style memes.  Though, it'll also have memes about how he's a destructive force to be reckoned with doing [vague thing to destroy the US from within].

"I have broken more Elton John records, he seems to have a lot of records. And I, by the way, I don't have a musical instrument. I don't have a guitar or an organ. No organ. Elton has an organ. And lots of other people helping. No, we've broken a lot of records. We've broken virtually every record. Because you know, look I only need this space. They need much more room. For basketball, for hockey and all of the sports, they need a lot of room. We don't need it. We have people in that space. So we break all of these records. Really we do it without like, the musical instruments. This is the only musical: the mouth. And hopefully, the brain attached to the mouth. Right? The brain, more important than the mouth, is the brain. The brain is much more important."
