I plan to go out with beeps and borps as they find me bent over a 1980's computer making sounds from a program I wrote as Sammy Hagar, Van Halen, David Lee Roth, etc play on the music player. When they look at the screen on the computer it'll say, "Whatever..meh!"

And that will be a rare find in Human History of an elusive GenX'r.

You wish. Once it becomes clear that humanity will die and nothing can be done someone will launch their nukes because why not at that point

Humans will go out with a bang

Time to destroy the whole ecosystem in the name of ceaseless breeding!

Could be a series of loud bangs, followed by a slow and agonizing death from starvation and radiation poisoning, so when the ravens and the raccoons take over the world, and begin sifting through the fossil and archeological record, they can dream their weird corvid and trash panda dreams of our world and its inevitable demise.

I hope that if we do go out, it's something spectacular. Something that leaves a navigational hazard on any space faring civilization's maps of the galaxy. Something that gets marked down with the alienese version of "here be space dragons".

I can hear the whimpering already.

How will the RavenCoon alliance have time or resources to have archeology?  They will be fighting the Squid continuum.
