I'm glad he was released and not killed. He looked healthy. Up here (Northern New England) he would've been put down without another thought.

Jesus, they're basically dogs, not Godzilla. Why does everyone freak out over coyotes? I've spent years in the desert and never felt the need to be intimidated by them. Why would someone kill them?

Never confuse a coyote for a dog. They're very skittish but fast as lightening.

They don't want to be petted or treats, they want to be left alone.

Coyotes at some point attacked both my kitty and a week ago our chihuahua. Both escaped but with large holes in them. Shoulda shot it or otherwise terminated it cause the only good coyote is a dead coyote...
