Little known fact is that his father and grandfather also coached that team in the past. It seems though that the team, like our country currently, is having problems with the third Reich.

If I ever get a head coaching gig in the NFL and I go 38-30-1, I'll cash my paychecks with pride.

Nah, Irsay isn't that impatient.  I can't recall him ever firing a head coach mid-season, and they've had some real stinkers.  Unless Reich has just completely lost the team I'd be shocked if he got canned before the season is over.  But unless they manage to pull a playoff run out of their asses both Reich and Ballard are gone after the season ends.

Surprised France has any interest in football.

I mean, the coach ain't the one fumbling the ball every set of downs.   Their problem is they keep on grabbing QB's who are past their prime and not just admitting that they need to do a long term process with a young QB.

its dumb to not accept that if you don't take that chance, you won't get someone who can play for you for 15 years and be a star.  And yeah, plenty young fellas don't pan out, but you never know if you don't give at least a couple seasons to a rookie to see what develops.
