I'll try to chase it down, but I saw something about the WH call logs also in TFG's possession.

"I think it's in the archives...."
"Most of it is in the archives..."

No one ever accused this guy of not knowing how to use weasel words.

Oh, I want to read these letters. Donald Trump is almost jacking off when he talks about them. I'm sure they're juicy.

To be fair I'd put money on him not knowing his way around a computer or anything, so it's obvious he kept them. How else is he going to use them to fap his Toad to during those lonely nights in prison?

From the interview:
Did you leave the white house with anything in particular?
Are there any memento documents you took with you?

Haberman seems like a lawyer here - never ask a question you don't already know the answer to.

I suspect that we all found out well after the fact, there were quite a few people inside his staff who knew that he had taken documents he shouldn't have.

How Trump viewed those letters: "Look at all the nice things they said about me! They must have really liked me! Doesn't this show how great I am?"

How anyone sensible views them: "Goddamn, they were trying to play him like a Stradivarius, and he was falling for it hook, line and sinker."

Those two totally did some serious butt play on each other. All the disgusting details are in those classified letters.

That's more important to him than anything else: That a world leader said something nice about him.

If there's one thing he will spend the rest of his life bragging to patrons in MAL about, it's that: While he was President, a leader of another country liked him.

The irony is that since what he really wants is to be remembered giving all these documents to the National Archives would've greatly increased the chances that they would be preserved in the historical record.

I remember seeing an interview with Obama after he left office where he commented how as President, people find all your jokes much more humorous, and that this requires you to work to maintain perspective. Of course, you could apply this learning to a broader set of interactions.

I suspect that rather than guarding against this, Obama's successor leaned into it.

I've seen parts of them. He likes that Kim refers to him as "Your Excellency."

No North Korean is going to make fun of Un's weight or the size of his hands.
He's incredibly jealous of that POS because of the fear he instills in his own people, which his broken mind sees as respect.

How else is he supposed to encrypt messages for North Korea?

A question that I'm sure has been answered here but I've never seen it, so apologies but...

Why didn't TFG just make copies of the files he wanted to keep and return the originals?

Just get out the black light, take some samples, and match the DNA that's spattered all over them to TFG. Easy conviction..

Not if he made them NFTs. Nobody could funge TS/SCI documents on the blockchain.

What is point of trying to sell them if the National Archives gives them away? Originals are worth more.

I'm fairly certain it was "Little Rocket Man", subby.

Perhaps "Little Red Rocket Rubbing On My Mushroom Tip"?

Oh, here we go...

It would be interesting to see just how brutally and effectively the NSA and DOD would act
