I've given up on the NFL. They care little for the players who give their bodies and future health for the sake of helping the League make a buck. I'm glad that many parents are not letting their children play football in high school.

phimuskapsi: Rumor is that the NFL is going to institute a new rule week five, that an player with a head injury of any kind will not be allowed to return.

Which means were going to see so f*cking many more upper back and shoulder injury calls instead of concussions. Like Cameron Brate had.

Tua had a head injury. They called it a back injury.

Wouldn't him not knowing he got hit in the head, in fact, be greater cause for concern?

I got hit in the head by a fastball once, I insisted it just hit my shoulder and I was fine. The coach immediately pulled me because I got smacked in the head and didn't farking know it.

These days, the only thing that would surprise me about the Concussion Protocol would be if it worked.

The NFL needs to be more like your coach. A lot more.

In fact all of us should be a bit more like your coach, and start caring a little more about other people. Even the people who care greatly about other people's well-being, could be better people by caring a little bit more.

This game only happened because the league was incredibly greedy. They already had the perfect regular season scheduling formula and playoff formats that they pointlessly threw aside to add a couple extra pennies to their pockets.

The NFL's overdue for a players' strike.
