Balls of Steel was a fun game and shouldn't have its awesomeness associated with DNF if possible.

Man, I remember playing Balls of Steel on my dad's old laptop (circa 1999). He was traveling for work and wanted a game to entertain him. Had a few other fun pinball layouts as well.

Also learned how to play Poker/Blackjack on it. Great training for a 12-year-old. Was fun at school until we started betting actual lunches/snack money.

looking at the market eco system today i find this measurement ot be out date and now false, relative to game dev norms of the last 10-12 years or so.

there is no dev cycle to relseae state project flow any more really.
game dev is now open public funding along side/as the transition from mainstream games just releasing half baked junk, and continuing to dev on it for about a year or as long as sales are high enough.

the last 4 battlefield games were all kind wonky junk on release and more  like a real game after about a year in the wild....while dev just carries on as normal anyway.

so the new way is "pay to alpha/beta test" for as long as the devs feel like it, and then call it 1.0 whenever, that's just some arbitrary nothing label these days.

Weird, I didn't even know the game came out on PS2, only ever played it on GameCube. Had both systems and would've thought I'd have picked it up on ps2.

And you will continue to do so. This game has nothing to do with the PS2 version.

Didn't the game's sole champion recently get fired in disgrace for being a complete asshole farkup?
