"This deal has taken more left turns than a doorknob," said Kristi Marvin, a former investment banker who runs data and research company SPACInsider. "Now, it's just got so much hair on it."

"So, Marvin, my accountant, tells me that investing in stupid is a great idea. I mean, they're stupid, so they can't tell if they're getting rooked, right? I mean, WWE, reality TV, those truck nut things, it's all open season for hunting dumbass redneck cash. Hell, they'll fight over giving you money. And Hell, I see this Trump fella just raking in the cash from suckers, so why NOT get in on that, and then cut the sum'bi*ch out? Only thing is...his brand may be a little more tarnished than we think. Marvin is telling me that investing in sedition is not a good look. And that liability for things like aiding and abetting a whole lot of illegal stuff is just too heavy. So, I gotta think about this.

Don't get me wrong, guys, I love shucking rubes, but I'm not going to invest in something where there's blowback on my real business. I mean, this would be a gas and all, but my fun money has to still be kind of safe."

He may let you think he's conspiring with you to fleece the others, but at the end he'll steal your share of the loot, too.

Oh that money is already gone. Sorry investors - but y'all lost whatever cash you gave Trump.

Next time maybe don't give money to scammers and liars like the trump family.

Nobody's making money off of investing in Truth Social, except Trump when he takes the money and runs. Actual thriving social media companies like Twitter struggle to find profit, and Truth Social is a farking joke.

The whole thing is an obvious scam, and anyone who is still so much as hemming and hawing about it is either a congenital moron (not uncommon in the investor class) or in on the scam.

For pretty much all the companies that you mentioned, ad sales, etc., are not the main product; the main product is the stock. This whole truth social thing is just one big pump and dump, and the problem here for TFG is that the pumping is getting a lot harder...so much so that the investors are reconsidering their involvement in the deal

Then he'll run his share into the ground and declare bankruptcy.  Expect him to walk away with plenty of assets, and use them as collateral for more loans (ignore the declared value).

Those must be the same "investors" that think anything sold as a Franklin Mint limited edition item will actually appreciate in value, rather than end up on the post garage sale shiatcan pile.

From the way the stock sale is organized to go through a SPAC once they acquire Truth Social, I believe their intent was to be on the side of those doing the fleecing, rather than getting fleeced. They would get their money through fleecing the unsophisticated investor who thinks they are striking it rich by buying into the next "Facebook" with the stock purchase. Truth Social's profit model was to make money through being sold, not through advertising or the collecting and selling of personal data as traditional social media does. Its "marks" are those who are technologically illiterate, like the elderly parent to gets confused by more two buttons on a device and confuse "email" with "eBay"; ones with money but no tech savvy. The investment class probably wants no part of it, and this deal is being propped up by grifters hoping to fleece rubes. Just that the pesky SEC is throwing a wrench in the deal because they see it for exactly what it is, and refuse to give it the OK. Because Trump Social is not a legit business and Digital World Acquisition Corp has no real business plans for it, they will never be able to provide the evidence needed to get the SEC's OK. Those who put up the money in hopes of fleecing the rubes are now getting nervous they will be the ones left holding the bag if they don't get out, rather then the rubes they wanted to fleece.

Back in July TFG, Kash, Half-Scoop, and others supposedly left the Board of Directors of TMTG. Conveniently, this was just weeks before the SEC served a subpoena to the company. I've been trying to find the current listing of their Board but their website where that info is supposed to be is just a blank page. In July the company denied that these people were no longer on the Board but I haven't seen any proof either way.

I'm pretty sure TFG already cashed out of this loser project and, like always, everyone else will be left with the bankrupt remains. HAHA Devin!

So, this investment?   How much do they charge people to access it?  Is there advertising supporting the platform?  There's an iPhone app.  How about Android?

Oh!  Brain thingie!  TFG goes on the Shark Tank to pitch this.   I think he'd get the fastest "no" from all of them since the wine by the drink guy.
