With Namor and Ironheart, it certainly seems like they're packing a lot in this movie, but that's probably a good thing because there is going to be an enormous chasm without Boseman to fill. I'm very excited to see this movie and the trailer looks like so much fun.

I have zero interest in Shuri as BP. None. She was my least favorite character from Wakanda (and BP 1 is among my bottom 5 MCU flicks) and it's not close. Put me 100% on Team Namor, but I'll be skipping this until it hits D+.

Yeah, I always thought they looked stupid in the comics but now that I've seen them flapping.....wow. It just  smacked in the face as one of the dumbest thing ever. Itty bitty pigeon wings help a grown man/fish fly? Asinine.

I should clarify it's a very minor gripe for me, I'll accept it just as I do a sentient, enchanted hammer

It's not official and probably won't be until the movie but the trailer clearly focuses on her face which shows her markings, and when the panther is shown at the end the mask has the same markings, so it probably is her, which sucks because as a person she sucks, but it makes sense, she's the current heir to Wakanda and Bassett, while a badass, likely wasn't an option.

I'd have preferred Nakia or Okoye though. Unless M'Baku loses weight and gets some nice shapely boobs.

I don't mind Shuri, but Letitia Wright can disappear forever and I wouldn't mind.

Hmm... I'm going to hope that's a fake-out, and it's really Nakia. The Queen did say her entire family is dead in the other trailer...

I think that may have been referencing the time period during The Snappening, although who knows. But it wouldn't surprise me if they start off with Shuri as the new BP, then something happens where she decides to give it up ("I'm much more useful in the lab") or whatever by the end of the film to someone else.

I never had a problem with Namor (and Namorita) having winged feet that allowed them to fly in the comics. But seeing it in "real life"? That looks super-stupid.

I certainly never got got the impression from the comics that they actually flapped. I just had them filed as "protuberances that resemble wings".

It made for a fun Community episode and that is how most of the people I know have heard about it.

Sucks they redeemed, then killed Dudeslayer or Manhunter or whatever his name was in the last movie film.

He would make a good Black Panther.
