Republicans want children to have pain and suffering because they are evil. Any vote for a republican is a vote for evil and abusing women and girls.

A man could get a sex change operation, get pregnant, and then have the drug induce an abortion so men shouldn't be allowed to to take the drug either.

Somaticasual: Sometimes, you just wish others could be forced to experience what they do to others....

And when they do, suddenly they are very concerned. That's their standard operating procedure. Everybody vote no for any kind of FEMA funding, until Florida gets hiat by a hurricane. Suddenly they are all crying "what about me?" fark the entire lot of them

And conservatives seem to think that inflicting cruelty makes them popular.
No wonder they're getting their asses kicked. Expect them to get even more desperate and scream the lies even louder....but they're a dying ideology and even they know it.

"It's her first year and she's in high school and it feels like a dream," Preble said. "She's not in a wheelchair, she has a social life and friends for the first time and a life all young people should have."

Sorry, you can't have that. Also, has she tried not being a girl? Just offering a simple small government solution here.

The doctor should prescribe it regardless.  Their first responsibility is to the patient.

Why are these fake news articles CONSTANTLY circulated around?  It's so freaking annoying.

The law does not prevent this.  Nothing anywhere prevents this.

Either this is completely fake (most likely) or the pharmacist is a piece of shiat at their job.  Sue the fark out of them and take your prescription elsewhere.

My daughter takes the same drug to help her from developing anti-bodies to her other medication. We heard concerns of the drug being banned or hard to get after Roe was overturned. Hoping PA votes blue for Governor.

It's interesting how these stories are presented to us, isn't it?
We aren't supposed to fight back or resist, and when we point out just how little support these asinine policies have, the exact same people always show up to explain to us how we should just let Republicans win.

This is something I don't get, wtf say does a pharmacist have in filling a prescription?  If the pharmacist has an issue he can bring it up to the doctor, who should rightly tell the pharmacist to mind their own farking business and fill the prescription like requested.

Seems like a HIPPA issue in there somewhere as well.

I don't think that possibility is in our current realm of science and medicine. Uterine transplants aren't part and parcel with gender reassignments and from what understand are incredibly rare to occur due to the risks.

This is not "fake news." It's a simple story about the implications of Republican policies. Don't like it? Don't be a Republican.

Never had many prescriptions have we?
Pharmacists love denying them, I assume for the minor power trip.
I have had to had a doctor confirm a prescription over and over. Because it violated some made up standard the pharmacist had. Never mind he was harming me and yet telling me it was for my protection.

Pharmacists then. Same point as above. They're not doing it for their beliefs but because they fear getting sued because they have less understanding of the law than sovereign citizens.

In this particular instance, the issue is not with the pharmacist's beliefs, but the pharmacy company's lawyers believing they might fall afoul of derpublican legislation by providing the medicine in question.

To the derpublicans, this is a feature, not a bug. Gotta keep them uppity wimminfolk in their place, you know.

Doctors, and that includes pharmacists, have a long history of taking personal risks to ensure their patients get treated properly. The behaviour now is the polar opposite.

Not much more than BP meds or antibiotics.  I've only had prescriptions denied if I couldn't pay for them.  I didn't know this happened with more than just birth control/anti-abortion drugs.

"But methotrexate can also be used to end ectopic pregnancies"

Ectopic pregnancies, without cessation of birth procedures, would be (and will be) 100% fatal to the mother.

Your daily reminder that the GOP wants to unalive women...

Luckily we live in a civilized country so it isn't an issue for her.

I don't get why a pharmacist would be held liable for filling a prescription.  They aren't the providers of care, they have no knowledge of the patient's medical history.  Just put the pills in a farking jar like you were told.

This is like if you went to a restaurant and the server had something against ketchup and refused to serve it to customers.  It makes no farking sense to me.

Well the little tramp should have thought about that before she went and contracted arthritis.

This is just more stupid evil stuff by the GOP and I hope it motivates more people, especially women, to not vote for them ever again.
