Vladimir the Incompetent and his flunkies seem to have believed the rest of the world would just meekly accept his referendum scam, and now they're shocked Ukraine is continuing to apply Orc-B-Gone to the temporarily orcupied areas of Ukraine.

Yes, Vova. the West (including Ukraine) is calling your bluff. Get your pathetic 'military' back inside russia's 1991 borders, and Ukraine will stop killing them in literal boxcar lots.

The referendum scam was entirely for domestic consumption.

This of course will be followed by threats to nuke the world.  So boring.

Did Vlad actually think his illegal annexation would actually be accepted by the rest of the world?
He's dumber than I thought. Sorry Putin but you've already lost this war. The only thing you get to decide is how badly you hurt yourself getting out of Ukraine.

It is wherever they say it is. They certainly don't seem to be able to hold onto any of it.

Little Vova was certain the rest of the world would be indifferent.
Not quite the same as accepting.

In military operations, surprises suck. Even in "special military operations".

I mean if they say it is and then Ukraine takes it back. Who's to say Ukraine can't take the rest of Russian?

Offer the Russian people bread, jobs, freedom, and a stable currency. Ukraine might just get plenty bigger.

Russia really has a problem. They've shown the world that their conventional military sucks, and Putin doesn't know how to govern without making a threat of using his military.

I smell a Ukrainian DMZ at least 100 km into the "FUCOR", (Federal Unified Communist Orc Republic [Pronounced phonetically]).

Ukraine should carve out a huge swath of Russia and free the everloving shiat out of them. But wait until my iosat delivery arrives. Putin is a madman.

Which has only made Putin's diplomatic situation even worse. Because you're right - nobody is taking Vlad's bullshiat seriously.
If everyone was really worried about nuclear war, they'd be a bit more polite about all of this stuff.

Russia's annexation of Ukraine is about as legit as the US Supreme Court. Just ignore it.

2022-10-03 8:52:21 AM
A few months ago, Russian sympathizers in Eastern Ukraine with shiny new proto-Russian passports were stopped at the border when trying to flee into Russia.

After this "annexation" becomes official, this shouldn't happen, right?  Perhaps an unexpected benefit of Putin's latest blunder will be an exodus of ethnic Russians out of Ukraine, making post-war rebuilding easier.

2022-10-03 8:52:54 AM
Weren't there a bunch of Russians running around in the last few days saying "I'm sure we left the border somewhere around here."

Stuff like that is always in the last place you look.

Do you really believe that nonsense you posted, or do you think you have to post shiat to show support with Ukraine?

the movie may not have gotten the timeline correct, but they didn't skimp on the details

/also didn't realize the red button Malenkov used to signal Zhukov to bust in and arrest Beria was actually a thing.

I've suggested that if Ukraine takes Moscow, they can claim the Soviet Union permanent seat on the UN Security Council.

More than just losing, they are burning resources that they can't replace, so if there was a real threat - say China making a move on oil fields, they wouldn't be able to do anything about it.

Ukraine also didn't have the military it has now, nor did anyone know who was doing it. Theoretically. Anyway.

And yes the world should have intervened sooner.

Except for sanctions that helped cripple Russia's military and assistance in training and support that helped turn the Ukrainian military from a force who ran away without fighting in 2014 to what we are seeing today.

There were sanctions against Russia, and Russians, as a reaction to the annexation in 2014.

I think it is hilarious that the US was training the Ukrainian military and no one told Trump while he was president.
