Sloppy conditions against the team with the most sacks in the NFL, not fair to evaluate him on this game. He should learn his lesson and wear a glove the next time it's raining like that, but he doesn't merit being called a bust off of this.

An insane red zone interception from Bradberry, one that most corners wouldn't make, that gets completed to the receiver and the Jags had a real chance to win.

He had a decent game the previous 2 weeks against the Chargers and Colts.  I think it's too early to hang the bust on him.

Except he isn't yet. Go look at his stats:
940 yards 66% comp, 8/2 TD/INT, 100 QBR for the season.

That's not a bust. Especially in year 2.

I don't believe I've seen you in a football thread or a graf thread this season. The writing of the Jake is gone, but I keep the Jake stats.

You realize gloves suck ass when its raining right?   Devonta Smith took off his gloves early in the game because of that..  they talked about this for a while on the local post game show.  

at least 2 of those fumbles had nothing at all to do with the weather.  the ball was just smacked the hell out of his hands.

The jury's still out.  The weather was pretty horrid yesterday, so I wouldn't put a ton of stock in it.  He's started out this season pretty well otherwise.  And I'm not sure how much I gauge from last year's shiatshow.

As for Lawrence himself, unless I'm missing something, he doesn't strike me as the type of guy to want to root to fail.

Lawrence had 4 fumbles and 1 INT.
Delhomme had 5 INTs and 1 fumble.

1 fumble short of a Reverse Full Jake.

1. The Jags have been surprisingly good, esp considering a) last year's clusterfark, and b) they are the Jags.
2. They were still in the game.
3. The rain was a factor for both teams.

/The Eagles are good (and undefeated) - ha ha at all the philly-hating farkers

Well, at least now the Jags have a competent coach. I didn't make any bets this past weekend but I almost went with the Jags to cover, if not win. Give the team another year and I expect them to make some major noise in their division.

/that said, go birds!

I wouldnt expect either of them to have an amazing game playing in the rain with 30 mph gusts...  
Pederson went into the game wanting a pass heavy game plan and just didnt adjust properly to the weather.. then the eagles score so much and pederson abandoned the run to try and catch up.
the Eagles tried to run a lot because of the weather and did pretty good.  

but if its gonna be crappy weather, give me snow for football.  thats always fun.
