Woodchuck says, "no Trump, you're just rambling nonsensically at this point".

Here's the thing about making a big deal of every fart that leaves his mouth:  a broken clock is right twice a day.

"We are a nation whose once-revered airports are a dirty, crowded mess where you sit and wait for hours and then are notified that the plane won't leave," Trump said.
"It's a nation where ticket prices are through the roof. They don't have the pilots to fly the plane. They don't want or seek qualified air traffic controllers. And they don't know what the hell they're doing," he said.

Flying in this country is a shiat show at the moment.  We gave those assholes a giant bailout on the condition of not cutting people loose, and of course they found a way to do it anyway.  To no penalty because, again, of course.  And now flying is a crapshoot; maybe the flight you scheduled will actually happen, maybe it won't.

So we're going to amplify Trump saying a thing that's true, go "look how stupid he is!" and make sure everyone hears it.  At which point, people will hear Trump actually making a good point, while the government does nothing to rein in the assholes running the airlines.

One more time, before you get started:  Trump is bad.  But he's farking phenomenal at generating clicks and ratings for otherwise struggling "news" organizations (not to mention news aggregators), so they're gonna run with this.  Making fun of him on this one is going to make people who fly regularly think that Trump has a better grasp of this particular situation than either the media or the current government.

Sir, this is an FBO.

At least he didn't mention how many billions airlines got in tax payer money to retain employees that they used to pay out in dividends instead resulting in the current mess.

Reregulate the airlines?

The horror....the horror

During the close of his speech, Trump attempted a dramatic reading over a piece of music tenuously linked to QAnon.

We live in an INSANE timeline. This is a guy who ran our farking country for four farking years.

The population came to their senses a little bit and tossed him. But he's still the leader of his party and favorite for the nomination. And he's farking nodding more openly than ever that he's farking Q himself, just wait wink wink, or something.

This shiat is farking insane. He's farking normalizing Q so he can expand it and run on it.

Dude, ripping on airlines is as old as ripping on airline food. It's low hanging fruit. Everyone does it.

If anyone cares, Trump likes airline bailouts, too.

My point is, who cares about this? His former stance swayed no one, and his current speech swayed no one. No one votes on airline issues.

Just to double your point:

"We are a nation whose once-revered airports are a dirty, crowded mess where you sit and wait for hours and then are notified that the plane won't leave," Trump said.
"It's a nation where ticket prices are through the roof. They don't have the pilots to fly the plane. They don't want or seek qualified air traffic controllers. And they don't know what the hell they're doing," he said.

With the exception of the bolded part, he's describing air travel in the US today to a T. The bolded part is an editorial comment, and I disagree only because I think they know exactly what they are doing.

Wasn't his plane grounded for a long time because he couldn't manage to get a working engine for it?

Trump attempted a dramatic reading over a piece of music...

I'm guessing The Rime of the Ancient Mariner read to a slow tempo muzak version of YMCA

He's just mad that his fat ass can't fit into a single airline seat anymore.

I'm so sick of articles that are essentially, "TFG said these incredibly stupid things today." Jayzus. It's been seven farking years of this shiat.

I'm hoping so hard to read a headline along the lines of, "TFG tried to speak but all that came out was a wet burble as spittle ran down his chin while his head slumped over his right shoulder. He did not say anything discernable."

Like the moran has set foot in an airport in the last forty years or more. He gets limo transport direct to the elevator that takes him up to the airplane door, where KFC and such is provided non-stop.

Personally, I avoid commercial air travel as much as possible. I either drive or fly a small single engine plane. Flew to my half-bro's wedding in August via Delta. Not a thing wrong worth writing home about.

TFG needs to f*ck off and die already. I mean, he should be in a 10x10 right the f*ck now with the stolen documents (and potential murders occurring due to that) but I'll take a stroke or a piano falling on him. Whatever it f*cking takes. Maybe give that Bald Eagle a second go at his stupid face.

Everything is fail.  Everybody is not good at thing.  Every person is corrupt and out to get you.

Jebus I am sooooo exhausted by this schtick.  Complete 100% total "victim" despite having a silver spoon shoved up his arse. Nothing works without his ideas, but heaven forbid if he actually ACTS on something...just angry, syphillitic words.

I called this years ago when he started badgering Obama, he's just an opportunist.  Was in the 80s, still is, only alot more loud.

I love the straight up sassiness of the headline from TFA.

Trump - who ran his own airline into the ground - used his big rally finale to bash the industry in a bizarre rant: 'They don't know what the hell they're doing'

Three Crooked Squirrels:

Dude, ripping on airlines is as old as ripping on airline food. It's low hanging fruit. Everyone does it.

Have you flown recently?  I started flying regularly in 2000 and there's nothing to compare the current situation to.  It's some 3rd world bullshiat.  Rank incompetence, almost unbelievable levels of not giving a fark.

And what's the deal with airline peanuts?!

Yeah, but if you think Trump knows anything about how to fix it, I've got a Trump steak to sell you.

Trump rallies are like bad conservative stand up comedy. "Mexicans want to immigrate? More like immi-awful! Am I right? And what's the deal with airline food?"
