And this is what happens when you ask follow-up questions, Chuck Todd (among others).

This is what happens when you call BS, BS. (Kind of funny that they can use the full expression at a political debate, and I have to censor it on Fark).

Isn't Colorado a "taxpayer bill of rights" state where any budget increases have to be approved by voters? So she's actively MFing the people who voted?

And, when your economic plan is "Just cut corporate taxes to -4% and we'll have a magical golden age because Jesus smiles on job-creating small businessheroes and such as, comma" you're doomed when you have to talk to people who can do basic math.

So her plan is to basically do the same "trickle down economics" wet dream that they tried implementing in Kansas. How'd that work out for them?

It got us a democrat as governor, which is good because she's doing an excellent job.

She doesn't stand a chance of winning. Colorado is solid blue these days. Currently all state wide offices are Dem, and both chambers of the statehouse, both US senators and the majority of the House.

I mean, at least say your gonna work some kind of unicorn magic with the state consumption tax formula, or something.

This was a lazy effort right out of the gate.

Let's give them all a virus that makes it very hard for them to do basic math.  Then we will be and to do whatever we want.  If any of them get uppity, just use mass media to proclaim that we have the toolseven though we don't.  Eventually they'll be too ground down to care.

Nope, the Springs is where people who hate Colorado live, we all know that.  It's basically our Kentucky, except we don't have Senators from there for decades who run the whole show...

From my brief skimming it appears that until Democrats stop being Leftist Communists they feel justified in believing and peddling lies.

Like the one about Democrats being Communists.

Eliminate income tax, cut gas tax in half and watch the income pour in!

Except it doesn't. There's ONE state that gets away with that, and it's Nevada that has enough secondary revenue (gaming) to cover the taxes they don't pay (and even at that they don't get much).

Why is it so expensive to live in CA? Because we have all the good stuff. Yeah, we pay for it, but we have good roads, good public services, the lights stay on, our water is drinkable and even the State of Jeffersonians know which side their bread is buttered on.

You dumb shiats.

rzrwiresunrise: I think my favorite part is where she says she's gonna cut waste by spending more money.

I can parse this logic. (read: not an endorsement of said "logic")

Let's say we have $100 to spend for the month. Typically you get $50 and I get $50.

Assumption: Any money you spend is wasteful. Any money I spend is worthwhile.

Solution: If I spend all the money, then I prevent you from spending any money. Ergo, the amount of money spent on wasteful things is reduced to zero from my efforts of spending the whole $100.
