Hello all.
Not been able to join in the past couple of GWs as I spent weekend before last digging up a cement floor & last weekend clearing out the last of the rubble before the sparks arrived to make another pile of it at the new house.
But I did manage to update the Dumpster fire league table and write a summary

Of course he gets the North (that) London derby today while Tierney will need to wait until later as he takes charge of the Wet Spam v Wolves game.
Third placed Pawson only gets a 4th official gig this weekend so he'll need to wait for another chance to leapfrog the leaders.

Pure luck that we have two London derbies on the weekend of a national rail strike, as that doesn't affect the buses and tube in London.

The other games, especially Newcastle's trip to Fulham, will be heavily impacted by it. Expect smaller crowds.

TV channel here has had a spotlight on Granit Xhaka who has had a pretty impressive season so far.
Not sure I've seen him play this well before & only the two yellow cards so far.
Of course, this is the kiss of death & he'll probably have a 'mare & get sent off today

The nations league was comedy gold for the home nations going into the World Cup. The team that have qualified (England and wales) both ended uk relegated, the team that didn't (Scotland) won promotion. So I'm theory, they could be higher seeded for the next euro draw. Mwahahaha.

Southgate continues to stick with Maguire against all reason. He did a press conference this week which was basically 'I'm picking him for the World Cup so you'd better get behind him so he doesn't suck'.

it always cracks me up when sky or bt wheel put some dude reading some overly earnest poetry about how important the game is while music from tv show of the day plays in the background.

It's always cringe. And they keep doing it.

I suspect he's now terrified that if he takes certain players out he'll lose all that. (Though from the outside it seems a lot of the team unity is down to Harry Kane not putting up with anyones crap).
