"Grocery bags"?!

What even...?

2022-10-01 5:12:36 AM
Dumbass. Empty gallon milk jugs will last at least 20 minutes.  Unless it's a warm day. On a really hot day, 3 minutes tops. Still better than plastic bags.

Did these people not learn chemistry in high school?

Yeah, dumb question.

Plastic bags won't hardly hold water.

I bet the modern carpet used in cars makes a wonderful wick.

When are we getting new picture-graph signs?

As volatile as gasoline is, and as stupid as carrying it in plastic bags that gasoline can melt, I'm honestly surprised that it would have spontaneously ignited from the car heat when the bag finally burst.

Why do I suspect one of the geniuses was smoking while on this flawless refueling operation?

"grocery bags"?

Do they mean the vanity ones I shop with now that they banned plastic bags and started charging 10 cents each for the paper ones?  I feel so stupid when I'm approaching the checkout and realize I left my bespoke canvas bags in my car

Even if they could hold gasoline would I ever want to use them for fresh produce again?
Hmmm....gasoline-soaked apples, what could be better?  I'm well-nourished at least.  An apple a  day and all that.

I realize they're complete idiots, but assuming the plastic bags would even hold the gasoline, how the fark did they imagine they were going to be able to get into a gas tank?

2022-10-01 6:05:20 AM
I always haul my gasoline in reusable grocery bags - it's better for the environment that way.

Syphon it from the bath tub into all those weird red milk jugs with yellow spouts they have all over for some reason. Brilliant!

My first thought as well. I f*cking guarantee one of them was smoking. I'd give a Darwin Award, either way, but I guarantee all of these assholes already have children. Too late...

Hey, we need to know a bit more to make that call.  Sometimes you do what you have to do.  I'm left wondering what the ignition point was.  If you are so out of options to use farking shopping bags to carry your petrol, you need to prep your group beforehand with a few basic guidelines.  Like no crack pipe use would seem to be rule #1

Must have been a Walmart bag. Target bags are much thicker and with no holes in them.

That said ....

The plastic bags were free, asking the gas station for a loaner gas can or buying a gallon of water would have been $2.  Anyone care to guess if this guy has Cadillac insurance, surely a visit to the ER and burn unit will be cheaper than $2.

You think I am coming out of the safety of my bulletproof kiosk to challenge some dinky-dua who's filling plastic bags with gasoline? For $11.35 an hour?
Uckfay ouyay.

I don't know if they are least put it in the trunk, but if not: The clinical picture of gas sniffing includes visual hallucinations, changes in consciousness, euphoria, nystagmus, dizziness, weakness and tremors.
And coming up with obviously fake stories where you blame your friend for stealing your car and setting it on fire.

My Sober Alt: "grocery bags"?
Do they mean the vanity ones I shop with now that they banned plastic bags and started charging 10 cents each for the paper ones?  I feel so stupid when I'm approaching the checkout and realize I left my bespoke canvas bags in my car
Even if they could hold gasoline would I ever want to use them for fresh produce again?
Hmmm....gasoline-soaked apples, what could be better?  I'm well-nourished at least.  An apple a  day and all that.

That's why they don't allow you to bring your old plastic bags back in the store and use them.  You have to bring in your own bag, then it's your problem if you poison yourself.
However if you use the self-checkout, no one is paying attention, and you can just whip those bad boys out of your pants and reuse them.

I have a gas can that  I found on the side of the road.  People just throw anything away.
