Well duh.  I think any straight male with a large collection of lesbian porn bookmarks could have told you that.

That doll study was seriously flawed. The girls were simply going after the best resale value.

I'm curious about the race of whoever asked the question.  Could that have affected the answer?

So if someone had asian porn that doesn't mean they hate western porn?  😊

The reverse is also true. I've had many people tell me that because I can't stand Trump, I must love Biden. Like there's no possibility of not being wild about Biden, either. Dafuq is wrong with people?

We used to be allowed to be in the middle, or have disinterest, or have middling feelings about movies and TV shows and books.

I think social media basically extended the highschool clique mentality of pushing to extremes well into adulthood. You can now only love or hate things. Neutrality, or even liking or disliking things is no longer a visible option. The internet rage machine and 24 hour news cycle make the only voices heard on any topic, the wild extremes.

Tom Marvolo Bombadil: Calanchini measured implicit bias with the Implicit Association Test...

Those implicit bias tests are massively flawed.

You have to have two cohorts of the subjects be relegated to the biased or unbiased arms first, then at a significantly later time, cross the arms and the test them again.

By not doing this, you've literally biased the cohort's data and you've tested nothing.

You can't test for bias when there is method to control for ambiguity.

It's totally the same thing "you didn't like being farked in the ass so you should love being farked in the mouth."
Why do you have a problem?

They're incapable of understanding the idea of believing in anything but a person, so if you don't love their person you must love the other person.  Values, programs, ethical or moral touchstones?  Those aren't real you have to worship your person unquestioningly!  It's "local sports team" writ large, they never got past that phase

Because if you're not a Republican, you MUST be a Democrat.  And if you ARE a Republican, you love Trump down to the core of your very being.  It just makes it that much easier for our stereotypes, generalities, and blanket statements.

This is like the thread lately where suddenly there was a battle over whether NIN or Johnny Cash had "the" version of "Hurt."

I just can't imagine being like "I like this thing, so anything else close to it is trash." Why? Why do that?

It means they like sexual sounds reminiscent of a kitten be horribly mauled.

My theory: kids aren't really ascribing "race" to the dolls. They are choosing the doll that looks most like those they see in movies, on tv, or in advertisements. Essentially they are choosing what they think meets the definition of a doll. They are omitting personification

Wow. Just today I corrected someone on who was the cover of the two.

They are both great. NIN is to dive into loathing; Cash is for sobbing.
