Here you go, Subby. I'm sure this is still real to you too, dammit.

Vegas usually has a better month than stocks, too--but you gotta be the house.

That dark tiny little line on the bottom? That represents half of the United States - roughly 166 million people.

The next 132 million people are represented by the medium sized band. These are the six-figure earners and people who have anything that isn't laughable on the stock market.

The only people who are really impacted by this are the small handful of people that represent that big thick band up top. They'll survive; I promise.

butbutbut...but if they don't, who will piss in my face and tell me it's raining?

To be fair it's kind of hard to accurately predict the ups and downs of a made up currency backed only by a flimsy house of cards, and there are challenges with crypto as well

So buy more magic beanie babies, subby. I've been shopping for value stocks with good dividend and free cash ratios.

I bet I'll be happier with my choices in 20 years.

Yeah but crypto stocks are down so stock is the dominant gene.

Stocks might be drunk right now, but they'll be sober in the morning, and crypto will still be ugly.

That's cool.  Hey, let me know when the stonk market drops 68% from its ATH.

That's like saying Trump had a better month than Putin.

This feels completely ridiculous to me.

58% of Americans own stock, and it doesn't matter if you have $100 or $100 million, if your portfolio drops 50%, you lose half.

I get that my retirement/life savings is a tiny sliver compared to really rich people...but I would argue stock drops hurt regular people far more than rich people.

If my .... 200 million turns into 100 million, my day to day life and retirement isn't really going to change at all.

Going from 200k to 100k or 100k to 50k ... are amounts that would impact people's lives in meaningful ways for regular people who hope to retire someday.

In 10 years, cryptoids will point to this one point as to why you need to buy more crypto.
