DrWhy: EdgeRunner: all the other quickie cash grab projects that Willis has done

You say that like it's a bad thing.

/If i could do a quickie cash grab that's legal I totally would
//you would too

I doubt it's a "cash grab". Like I said, movie stars gotta movie star.

How can he sell the rights to anything if he's already been diagnosed?

"In March the Die Hard veteran's family shared news he was retiring from acting due to the condition, which is a neuro-cognitive disorder that effects the sufferers ability to speak and understand language. "
His guardian(s) are cashing in.

You understand it's not necessarily all or nothing, right?  It's entirely possible he's degenerated too much to act, but (for now) can still communicate to people.

HE himself was desperately appearing in as many movies as possible in the past two years specifically as a cash grab. His OWN recent actions support this probably being his idea.

Barricaded Gunman: Bruce Willis is already worth $255 million, he's 67 years old and he has three more movies still to be released. Did he really need to grab a few more coins from Russia on his way to the River Styx?

Movie stars need to be movie stars to be point that they continue to work past their expiration date. This is just taking it to the (creepy) extreme.

We shot past the creepy extreme awhile back. At least he's a willing participant in the creepiness, unlike demonic zombie Peter Cushing in Rogue One.

My understanding is that he totally knows what's going on, it's a complicated diagnosis.
And this is a pretty cool use of the technology.

The implications of this kind of thing are weird. Especially if it's used for child actors.

I can't think of any reason why it's unethical, or immoral. There's nothing actually *wrong* about it. But it feels weird.

If you ignore the clickbait headline and read TFA, it explains that he sold his image rights a year before he was diagnosed. Considering all the other quickie cash grab projects that Willis has done, it's not a big surprise that he signed on for this.

If they have permission it's not immoral but it's definitely "weird".

mattj1984: The R&M episode is a pretty good bell weather that no one under 30 gives a shiat who Bruce Willis was.

Ironically, it won't be that much longer before no one under 30 gives a shiat about Rick and Morty.

Then I hope you enjoy all of the Bruce Willis porn.
