Dunno, Mahomes seems to have the "superhuman" part down.  He's apparently got the off season commitment some others are missing.  And he's certainly going to have the money... Not saying it's a sure thing , but if anyone's going to do it, it's him.

If he can effectively unload the ball in two seconds and routinely keep a clean uniform then maybe. Father time isn't kind to anyone, particularly those who might hold onto the ball for a smidge longer than that.

If he can avoid getting hit or sacked, along with getting rid of the ball quickly while not scrambling too often, then maybe. That would require a healthy offensive line that can maintain the pocket without collapsing and a lot of other things on his part for that to work.

And even if that happens, sh*t happens. You can avoid the big hits, but need ACL repair due to tripping on the carpet.

I believe Mahomes had a patellar dislocation (kneecap), and once you have that injury, recurrence becomes more and more likely.  The recurrence rate following a first-time dislocation is anywhere from 15-60%.  Big spread, I know.  However, if it happens again, well, that will shorten any NFL career.

What a ridiculous question. It makes much more sense to ask "is some unborn child who we haven't yet identified going to be able to play into his seventh decade, using a combination of performance enhancing drugs, nano-technology backed artificial limbs and an artificial brain?

I came to make a similar comment about Allen. I absolutely love watching the dude play, but if he doesn't start giving a shiat about his body, he's not gonna last half as long. He's a big dude, but linebackers are bigger.

he will definitely fark himself over. at least stationary big ben knew his limits. josh does not understand the long-term. he just doesnt comprehend the future. or, perhaps he understands his shelf life and is simply trying to get a ring as fast as he can. either way, its a losing scenario.

but check back with me in february...
