That oinker in her SUV might be better off riding a bike to work instead of spending fitty bucks a day on fuel ⛽.

Ah yes, deregulation is sure to bring down prices for consumers. Those oil companies would surely choose to stop shoveling in record profits if only the government would get out of their way and let them do it.

The Levittown gas station was the last stop on Americans for Prosperity's national "True Cost of Washington" campaign that toured the nation to highlight inflation and call out government spending that the group deems unnecessary.

Eat shiat, Teabaggers.

How much you want to bet these people are idling, burning gas, while waiting in line so they can save a couple pennies?

tedthebellhopp: freakdiablo: BlazeTrailer: I use 93 and I don't think that's gone down the entire time around me.

It has for me.

Peaked just over $5, last time I filled up it was $4.20ish (blaze it)

Same for me I use 93 in a couple of cars I have, it's about 4.30 or so. I can also get 91 ethanol free that's cheaper than then 93 if I'm around that station.

and,

FTA: Fran said her older SUV had some mechanical troubles a few weeks back and it burned more gas than it should have, causing her to spend $50 per day as she commuted between Levittown and Philadelphia.

Fran, in just a couple of days you could have paid for the o2 sensor that was likely the culprit.

Narrator: Fran gets her work done at the dealer.

I filled up for like 2.70 on Tuesday... so that was nice.

/I'm sure it'll temporarily skyrocket thanks to a massive hurricane currently obliterating florida.

Fatty has a 250 mile daily commute and she blames her problems on gas prices?

Too fat for the train?

I mentioned in an earlier thread that 93 used to cost 50 cents/gallon more than 87 in my town... after everything going up and back down, 93 is magically $1.40/gallon more than 87.  (And even 91 is $1.30/gallon more than 87.)

I don't know who exactly is getting that extra 90 cents or a dollar per gallon, but they ain't getting it from my old beater.

Although there was an attendant at each pump, their purpose was not to fill customers' tanks. The Americans for Prosperity staffers were there to help their captive audience understand their message and to distribute swag bearing the slogan "Pay More, Get Less."

I'll happily pay more to not be blethered at by them.
