I still have my Pokemon cards.

They're probably worth about 4 cents.

That's a pretty stunning level of pathetic.

I have TFG's high school card.   He was the top pitching prospect in the country when he was only a junior.   Turned down a bonus from the Yanks.

Maybe not quite as stunning as Zuckerberg having participated in organized sports at any age.

So was Joe DiMaggio.   He got better looking as he aged.   Also, he married Marilyn Monroe.

One of the VPs here at work is an avid collector of sports stuff, for over a week I had an unsigned mint condition Tom Brady Rookie card on my desk in a package. He paid $40,000 for it and if it was signed it probably would have been worth over $300,000. He was not here for the week and I had no idea what was in the package, had i known I would have locked it up. But he also spent like $20,000 on a baseball signed by all the Red Socks from some year, it turned out to be a fake.

You might be surprised. I stopped playing Magic: The Gathering over 15 years ago, but kept a lot of my rare cards. Several are worth $100-$200 (mostly dual lands), and one (Gaia's Cradle) sells for up to $1,000.

I keep my dice in an aluminum Durex container. Turns out the aluminum container the 58 pack sells in will perfectly fit a Chessex 'Pound O Dice'.

I've always pronounced heard it pronounces chess-ex, but don't know if that's how the company pronounces it.
