Thanks, Plague Rats! For keeping transmission vectors in place.
Thanks, Anti-Vaxxers! For keeping breeding grounds in place.

Get my bivalent vaccine next week. Just started releasing the vaccines this past Monday In Ontario.

Hopeful it will help.

The Cdn Gov't pulling back on masks for airlines/travel/border requirements is definitely the wrong move & not based on science.

I know people are tired. I'm tired of it. But it is foolish & puts many people at extra risk.

I work with Infection Practitioners - also get your Flu shot. This year's version is nasty apparently based on data from Australia.

Got my booster with Omicron flavor crystals on Monday.  Sore arm and tired on Tuesday.

So I'll resume my normal mask up indoors when near humans routine that has kept me Covid infection free.  Unfortunately, my kids go to school...so far we have been fortunate.

I know it is inevitable that we will get infected.  The goal is to buy as much time as possible to allow medical science to have the best treatments available.

I've got relatives, young supposedly-smart people who refuse to vaccinate.  Idiots.  I dread getting a phone call...

Meanwhile, Kaiser saves a few bucks up front by not making the latest booster available.

I think my son (7th grader) is a covid dodger.  All of his friends have had it.  No matter, we got the latest booster and flu shot at the same time.  I think the flu arm hurt worse.  But I did feel "bleagh" all weekend.

Another chance for a widespread MAGAt purge? Works for me.

We got flu shots and covid boosters yesterday. We are the only people that we know that haven't had covid yet. Last month dad was in the hospital for a week with it. I usually get sick from either vaccine, but made it through the night fine. Sore arm from the covid shot, and feel a little tired/off today. Planning to take the day off and just fark around.

Had my Moderna bivalent yesterday. No side effects except a tender deltoid.

Got my bivalent booster on Tuesday, but the vaccination is our backup plan. The real plan is not to catch it in the first place since it appears to have a good chance of leaving folks with long-term damage which could haunt me and wifey real bad in a couple years.

So far so good, haven't caught it once. Social distancing and masking up.

From reading the article, doesn't sound like the existing vaccines, or even previous infections of a different strain, will do much to prevent infection by this strain... so it should really be back to masking up when out in public, but we all know that the politicians aren't going to put any mandates back in place, so I won't be at all surprised to start seeing hospitals overwhelmed again

Good thing I changed my investment portfolio to futures in horse paste and iron lungs.

Looking at getting my second booster next week.  Got my first booster a year ago.

It's already happening in Great Britain.

You people need to do some research - the "vax" doesn't stop transmission, doesn't stop infection - has negative efficacy after 5 months and has harmful side effects.  All cause mortality, excess non-covid death is up in pretty much all highly vaccinated countries.  Thailand prospective study showed 20%+ of adolescents having heart issues from vax. There are no mid or long terms studies on RNA therapeutics -  it is has not been proven safe or effective.

Got the Pfizer bivalent yesterday. They had to add another page to my dance card.

That's some low-energy ooga-booga there. Seems like you might be getting as tired of posting it as we are of seeing it.

All of them also have government-recommended viral spread.

common sense is an oxymoron: That's some low-energy ooga-booga there. Seems like you might be getting as tired of posting it as we are of seeing it.

Long-trolling is a real drag on the ol' energy reserves and intelligence quotient.
