I'm guessing, since some of the infected got it two days before, that there's only so many motels, diners and convenience stores on the roads approaching where these tourists enter the park, and one or more of those places is a source, they probably have some logistical commonality like the same supplier of certain items.

I also didn't realize that hand sanitizer doesn't kill norovirus. Good to know.
