Got a friend whose Dad is getting divorced at 91. The old man and his wife got fed up with each other ten years back; they decided it was easier for one of them to wait until the other died rather than go through the hassle of a divorce. They both now regret that decision.

I dunno, if they each have a life insurance policy on each other and have each other listed as beneficiary, there may be a clear WINNER there if they stick it out. Like HIGH stakes! XD

Probably a good deal. Coffins are cheaper when you buy them used.

/They lose 20% of their value as soon as they leave the plot.

She did say 'lived', past tense. Maybe her husband was a vampire and she finally drove a stake through his heart and cut off his head.

Good timing.  If the price is reasonable, it could be a part of someone's halloween decor.

Pillow not included as my dog has taken to it.

I'm thinking maybe the dog's been sleeping in the casket. And then you'd be dead and lying there for all eternity and suddenly be like, "What's that smell? Is that dog?".

Actually.  I love to own it. But I'm in Texas.
I've been thinking of sleeping in a children's Pool, just in case I die. If I slept in this it would really simplify everything

Can you still buy caskets at Costco?

Until the excitement of finally having outlived the wife kills the husband. Its like the gift of the magi but life insurance

So? Is he no longer going to die some day, or is he no longer her husband?

Coffins are the biggest sham.

The ghouls at the funeral home talked about quality, comfort, and the number of support springs when it came time to finalize and pay for my mother's funeral.

As a dutiful son I paid for the high quality casket she had selected and all the other silly things.

When my turn comes I've already laid out the closest I can to my ultimate wish of it being tossed in a ditch and left to scavengers.

That is what I am doing. Donate my body to anyone that will take it. Use it for teaching doctors. Or whatever. Then they have to dispose of it. No funeral. No nothing.
