Only if it was an mostly intact giant spaceship that attracts fighter pilots and J Pop performers.

I would consider an asteroid harboring microscopic alien life to be a spaceship.

There's this thing, where an attribute goes into a title or slogan, and it comes out of the product. "Quality is job one" or "Affordable care act".

TFA got stupid pretty quickly. Useful data from TFA:
- ONE scientist thinks a couple of minerals found in a few meteorites is evidence of extraterrestrial technology. He says so in a paper which has not been peer-reviewed.
- The reasoning behind this idea is the supposed fact the minerals in question do not occur naturally on Earth.
- Even people whose job it is to look for extraterrestrial technosignatures do not agree with the scientist behind this conjecture.

Almost everything else in TFA is a bunch of woo. Sample quote: "If Oumuamua is in fact an alien spacecraft ..."

Nope. It wasn't. The fact it was extra-solar in origin is amazing enough without dragging BEMs into the mix. Just about everything after that quoted line is a bunch of unadulterated speculation and abject stupdityness.

If the article can be answered with a yes or a no, then it shouldn't be written.
