Jake Havechek: He should have been on that chopper instead of Kobe.

Look out, we have an Edge Lord over here.

For the record, NY fans are worse than Boston fans in every way.   I don't have a horse in this race since I am saddled with northeast Ohio teams and my life is one of misery, but consider:

Yanks fans booed Maris in '61
Yanks-related commissioner put an asterisk next to Maris' HR record.
Yanks fans suddenly loved Maris when Sammy, Mac and Barry broke the record
Yanks fans feel Judge is the "true" record holder now.
Yanks fans still think Judge has some sort of league record, even though that has existed in 25 years due to interleague play.   In fact, Judge hit 10 HR against NL teams, so he doesn't even have the "AL Record" even if it still existed.
Yanks fans still refuse to recorginze any career HR record other than Ruth's.
If you point any of these things out to a Yanks fans, there response is always, "but our 27 Rings".

To sum up, NY fans are worse than Boston fans by every reasonable metric.

I will add another image that was created by another Boston Farker (sorry, I don't remember who).

[Fark user image 500x879]

I know that future.

/it's the same one where the Sharks win the Stanley Cup in seven games, clinching in triple OT against the Flyers

Sharks in 6, get it right!

I don't hate Boston.  Never been there.

Now Boston fans?  That's a bit different.

I was witness to some pre-Tom Brady era Pats fans starting a fight at a Broncos game in 1998.  Admittedly, there was a LOT of drinking going on with both sides, but they definitely started it.

That's quite a statement from an investor in the Boston Red Sox.

"Russell noted that he "refused" to let the racist taunts from fans harm him: "As far as I was concerned, I played for the Boston Celtics, the institution, and the Boston Celtics, my teammates. I did not play for the city or for the fans.""

Oh, there was a reason why the pre-Steve Grogan Pats were absent from MNF.

One drunk urinated on a medtech tending someone, either on the field or in the pahking lot, after several fights in and out of the stands.

1. We threw a guy off the back of the stadium.  Granted, the old stadium was smaller than a Texas high school, but he fell pretty good.  And Jets fans don't bounce.  No more drunken night games for us.

2. I don't hate the Lebrons or Jeters of the world because I wasted my hate on Magic Johnson.  But he earned my respect when Larry showed him respect.  And as a great famous man said, "if I can change.  And yous can change.  Everybody can change!!!"
