WTF are the kids eating?

When I was growing up it was peanutbutter and jelly, or bologna...ON A SANDWICH.

fun fact.
adults consume food as well.
For example.
I had home made banana bread with chocolate chips and coconut for dinner.

I did this because I'm an adult.

I don't eat many sandwiches anymore. Not because I'm avoiding it. I just started using dinner leftovers for lunches and I don't usually eat sandwiches for dinner.

Does that count tacos???

I love sandwiches. I worked in a deli in my youth and know hundreds of combos.

I could eat a sandwich at every meal and be happy.

I try to use pitas or flat breads to make my sandwiches so we go through less bread as a household. But I'd say me and my 4 yo eat 12-14 sandwiches a week, each. Her goal is to eat food, my goal is to slip in as many super greens as I can with as little other stuff.

Should be mayo instead of mustard, but, yes, a sandwich.

I'm gonna snag a made-to-order sandwich from the deli when I go shopping during lunch...so I'm getting a kick.

Thinkin' pastrami & pepper jack on rye with the works.

I love sandwiches

My dr told me not to eat processed carbs like bread because I'm fat
Now I put my sandwich stuff on salad instead.

It's not the same

Damn, that sucks.

Last dietary advice I had from a doctor was "eat more fatty fish and olive oil; your overall cholesterol is fine, but your HDL is low."

So uh...I have been? And it's been awesome.

If you learn to make bread that might be a thing you can do together.  She likes making things.

I take an omega 3 oil everyday. My dr says I'm perfectly textbook healthy, all my numbers are perfect. I'm just fat. Probably from my love of sandwiches and beer.

You should try an open-faced sandwich:

Likely to continue.

Of course, the contents of that sandwich are likely to be grass clippings or some shiat as you have to be a hedge fund manager to afford cold cuts or cheese.  Peanut butter is holding steady but inflation will not rest until we all starve or kill our neighbors for that last can of Spaghetti-Os.
