Throw away the key, and continue the *sentencing intensifies *

Seems these later cases are garnering much more severe sentences. They seem to match the crimes. I mean, beating on cops is not a fine and probation, usually

Yes, but these crimes go to 11.

Not sentenced yet. They said that" he could get".
Which means he will get nothing of the sort.

Kinda like how the early cases were the minor trespassing and interrupting the business of the federal government, not sedition, or violently trying to overthrow the government.

Kinda like some of us understood that and pointed it out only to be shouted down that Garland was doing "NOOOOOOTHING!!1!!!!!!1!!"

Why go for a bench trial on this? The farker is probably on video doing all that shiat. Unless the judge is on record as a derper, the guy had a better shot hoping that a derper made it into the jury.

LOL, I LOVE IT!!!!!!  I hope that he is a gun owner too!  Well, WAS.  Enjoy turning your firearms into the government now, since you are now a CONVICTED felon, and as such, have lost your treasured Second Amendment right to own a firearm!!!

Garland explained at the very beginning what would happen: They process the small fries first, all the minor trespassing and misdemeanors and people who were just there wandering around but didn't do anything. There are hundreds of them to go through.

And now they're working their way up to the heavy crimes: The assaults and thefts and destruction of property. Also the leaders of terrorist organizations who planned this like they're the farking Bolsheviks or something.

And then finally they'll go after the ringleaders.... whoever they may be.

Dude lived a town over from me. While I do love my state, there is still an awful lot of trash up here, as evidenced by this douche, Susan Collins and her twatwaffle voters, and Paul Tubby LePage.

Scenery sure is nice though, ayup.

I know a lot probably has to do with the Trump administration farking with the response (and preparations?); however, I can't help thinking that if the entryways or other narrow control points had had a huge, literal red line on the floor and ginormous signs all around with guys on bullhorns yelling "lethal force beyond this point. you will be shot" and then a few of them had, shockingly, been shot dead on the spot that it would have disrupted the momentum these chuds had.  I do not have faith that Meal Team 6 was prepared to see a couple people dying from chest wounds and say "yup, I'll go next."

That sh*t is in Portland/Portland area even.  I go frequently, and while it's obviously not the heart of Magastan, I see plenty of more subtle signs like small "don't tread on me" bumper stickers on cars, other maine-specific stuff like stickers calling Mills a communist, houses with thin blue line flags, etc.  Granted, that gets balanced out with far more things like pride flags, BLM-aligned signs, etc.

That's not fair. I want them all to be processed now, get the same sentence (death) and executed right now. This is taking too long!

I think the Key here is every Jan 6th defendant should take the plea deal as soon as possible. and sing like a canary

the DOJ is undefeated in Jury trials. And they are starting to use evidence used in previous trials

the only hope for a lenient sentence is a bench trial with McFadden who is obviously trying to thread the needle by handing down verdicts, but giving them really light penalties

Judging from the campaign signs I see on my commute from just-inside-495 to just-outside-495, most places outside 495 are Magastan. :/

Almost everyone believes that half the people in this country are actively out to destroy it, while "their side" is trying to save it. The only disagreement is about which half is which.

"Earlier this month on Sept. 15, U.S. District Judge Rudolph Contreras sentenced Lunyk to one year of probation, two months of home confinement and financial penalties."
"[W]e're going to be at the epicenter of the civil war," Lunyk wrote on Nov. 10, 2020, according to his statement of offense"

Actually planned for a civil war for months and got 1 year probation this month

They still aren't getting tough sentences.

A republican judge may find him innocent. The desire for republicans to protect criminal republicans is strong in them no matter the cost to the country or how it may violate the constitution.
