They added booze to the menu.  Easy profit center.

Let me guess, it's one of those beer menus that treats Heineken like some rare, exotic beer.

I dunno.  It's probably the standard mix of cheap domestics with a Sam Adams thrown in.  That's what most chains do.

Never bet against the stupidity of the average American, ever.

Americans know their goose is cooked and will be living it up for the rest of their virus-shortened lives. If you ever found yourself wondering what the impetus for price gouging in the age of corona, this is it. Suicidal fish in a barrel.

Going to Cracker Barrel is considered "living it up"?  When I was younger and one wanted to live it up, it was cocaine and hookers.

When I was a kid, we lived way out in the sticks, so on Sunday we would often drive 30 miles to the nearest decent sized city to eat at Cracker Barrel and then go next door to the Menard's.  We would have these hour long waits for a table.  I hated it.  I would end up wandering around that craptacular gift shop forever just trying to kill the time.  And then the food wasn't any good.  I think we went there because it was just about the only place to go.

CB's often are just on the outskirts of a city next to the highway exit with easy on and off access and big
parking lots that can take tour busses and motorhomes. They do damn well with that and are willing to let
motorhomes park in their lots overnight even if they don't go in. I wouldn't be surprised if tour and charter bus companies and their drivers have deals worked out with CB.

Cocaine Meth, hookers, and then Cracker Barrel for lunch the next day rounds out a weekend for a lot of folk.

I haven't been to Honkey Bucket in a while. Running low on their candy and obscure soda pop.

Yeah, I hit CB up every now and then. There are a couple of things they do pretty well.
