If games worked in live action cut scenes that could be something but I'm not going to get my hopes up.

Also, for the first few years, games will be great.  Then by 2027 everything will either be an anime style JRPG or a Unity asset dump with a crappy English dub.

More mobile games?

But on a serious note I think Square Enix has a few games with live action and they were received well. Can't recall the names.

I never in a million years would have assumed the guy who made wing commander would end up making a game that cost over 500 million bucks with no end in sight.

Which sucks, as I absolutely loved all of the WC games, minus Privateer II (even though it cast Clive Owen in his first role as well as John Hurt!)

SC has just been a complete mess. I may buy it if there is ever a 1.0 release, but not a penny before.

Apparently they've already released over 600 games with a 5 star rating and not advertised a single one. Weird.

You're in luck! Netflix got the rights to the mobile version of Immortality which is a live action cut scene video game where essentially you're combing through footage to solve a mystery of a missing actress.

I was thinking the three Mafia games would have looked awesome with live cut scenes. Especially all the death scenes in part 3.

It's a sandbox space sim similar to Privateer and Freelancer. You won't like it.

Squadron 42 is the spiritual successor to WC and will have more scripted missions like that. Also, Mark Hamilton, because it's not a CR game without Luke making a cameo

He released version 1.0 of SC a long time ago. It was actually pretty good except needing a computer that was 2 years ahead of anything most people could purchase.

I think this was mentioned a few months ago. From what I understand it's stuff closer to Candy Crush than Call of Duty. I don't know what Netflix could to do stand out from the hundreds of other companies churning out that garbage.
