I went to buy some SPF 100 today for some upcoming travel to the land of incessant sun and the best I could do was SPF 70.

ITS A CONSPIRACY!!!

I didn't realize there were anti-suncreen conspiracy theorists.

Now I've got to decide if that's dumber than flat Earth bullshiat...

I am anti-sunscreen, but don't have any conspiracy theories about it. All I know is that the smell of it causes me physical pain. It's like being stabbed deep in the sinuses.

I won't wear it, and if you're wearing it, I will stay out of range.

I'm against sunscreen.  I agree with its efficacy, I just prefer to be where the sun isn't quite so strong. Like in a forest

I'm not a fan of sunscreen. Don't like rubbing chemical into my skin. I prefer to keep covered up when I am in intense sunlight and generally monitor my exposure otherwise.

Living in a country with one of the highest skin cancer rates in the world you kinda take sunscreen seriously, but at the same time you come to realize that a lot of sunscreens simply aren't effective and their manufacturers lie, so you gotta know that you're getting the actual good shiat.

nooooooh!  the conspiracizers are after my sunscrean now!?  dammit, what are we going to DO people?  when will we stop these idiots from destroying everything good in life???!!!  oh the humanity!!!!!!

Anyway, I'm off to patent the idea of posting a conspiracy theory on one website while contemporaneously posting a scary anti-conspiracy-nut story on another.  I sure hope no one beat me to the punch on that.

Star Wars was based on a Japanese movie.

Darth Vader's costume was based on a Japanese grandma dressed for a sunny day.

Wear it every day, in every kind of weather. Wear it even if you're going to stay inside.

No thanks, I'll stick to times when I know I'll be out in the sun for awhile.

Its really just safe to assume that anything over spf 50 is either toxic, full of lies, or both

The only two things the FDA actually calls GRASE= Generally Recognized as Safe and Effective are either zinc or titanium oxide. Nothing else is actually proven to be safe while reducing uv exposure

There's no body-shaming here. You can just say that your body shouldn't be that  exposed in public, and we'll tell you where to get a really big swimsuit and a barrel  of sunscreen.

My little sister was the 1st generation of the "cover the baby in sunscreen" and she doesn't seem to have the "I've been in the sun too long, where is the shade?" attitude that her older siblings have when they have been in the sun too long.   I wonder if there is a way to teach that feeling of too much sun without risk.

You know that big ball of radiation we call the sun?
Well, it'll burst you into flames if you stay in one place too long.
That is, if the static don't get you first.

Rashguard/diveskins (they all claim "SPF 50") and a hat are my go-to for a day out on the water. Leave sunscreen usage just for neck, face, and hands. Don't really like how it feels on my skin, either.

We were at Little Beach on Maui. Yes the naked beach.  It was time to refresh our sunscreen so we moved to be downwind of the people around us. One of these leather couch looking theorists started coughing and yelling at us. We were spraying poison.  Made a whole scene. It made me mad so when we went to our spot I made it a point to bend over and touch my toes in their direction.

Sunscreen is definitely a conspiracy, it doesn't last very long so you have to keep applying it. It's a very effective method of parting wealth from idiots who think they won't get skin cancer anyway.

I dunno man.  All the old guys I know have to wear hats and keep getting pieces of their face cut off.  I'm gonna go ahead and use it.

My favorite sunscreen used to be a version of Bullfrog that used titanium dioxide and was waterproof.  Can't find it anymore.

I have some spf 100 sunscreen that works great, in that I don't even begin to tan if I'm out in the sun for hours.

It also has the consistency and smell of glue, so there's a strong possibility of it being toxic.
