I don't think I've ever seen so much hype for so little payoff outside the Star Wars franchise.

Are you talking originals?  Prequels? or the new ones?  Episodes 4 and 5 are epic.  Rogue one is up there, the Mandelorian is pretty good... and that's about it.  I almost walked out of Episodes 8 and 9... they were just bad.

Speedy is fine, he's just a fast Mexican Bugs Bunny.  He is the hero and outwits his opponents.  The problem with those cartoons are the other mice characters, especially Slowpoke Rodriquez.

Senior Rodriguez packs a gun , sings about marijuana, has constant munchies, red and apparently lazer controlling eyes , never in a hurry. Slow Poke Rodriguez is a gangster.

Headline of the linked article: "How some businesses flounder with Hispanic Heritage Month marketing efforts"

Okay, so maybe try not to see Cultural Heritage celebrations as ruthlessly-profit seeking marketing efforts to better fill the pockets of your shareholders, for a start?

I can understand, and even respect, the drive to monetize things. But when you're trying to monetize everything, you have a serious problem.

A corporation that leaves money on the table gets uncomfortable questions at shareholders meetings.
